Carlos was told to work on his fitness at the time he was jettisoned from the ODI team. Perhaps Yadi's observation that he is now bowling faster is a sign of improved fitness.

Yes because even Wavell Hinds was used in England once as a first change bowler. These medium fast bowlers can make that ball talk in England. Especially in September

A dropping could either deflate the weak or motivate the strong. I think Carlos is in the latter bracket because his bowling seems to have improved.

However not sure about his batting because of his recent failures there.
