conman 2017-09-21 13:51:33

In reply to Runs

and the pope is catholic
what is there to discuss?

Runs 2017-09-21 13:55:50

In reply to conman

Why cool

conman 2017-09-21 13:57:06

In reply to Runs

okay, lets go deeper first

what did darwin believe?

Runs 2017-09-21 14:07:05

In reply to conman

Adaptation, survival of the fittest, natural selection. Did not dismiss that perhaps a superior being designed. cool Now your turn.

conman 2017-09-21 14:09:27

In reply to Runs

no no no

Darwin Was Agnostic

you started with this

what does that mean in terms of his beliefs

Runs 2017-09-21 14:15:39

In reply to conman

Did you miss my above post? wink
You do understand what an agnostic is am assuming or am I incorrect?

conman 2017-09-21 14:35:39

In reply to Runs

a person who believes that nothing is known or can be known of the existence or nature of God or of anything beyond material phenomena; a person who claims neither faith nor disbelief in God.

are you saying for certain, this is what darwin believed?

conman 2017-09-21 14:37:46

Did not dismiss that perhaps a superior being designed

Nor did he dismiss bigfoot being responsible either

Runs 2017-09-21 14:46:17

Intelligent design would be apt or not? cool

conman 2017-09-21 14:46:57

In reply to Runs

sure
if there is evidence to suggest it

do you have any such evidence?

Runs 2017-09-21 14:51:52

In reply to conman

Intelligent design can be tied into Darwin's theory of natural selection. wink

conman 2017-09-21 14:53:34

In reply to Runs

how?
and once again, what evidence do you have to suggest that?

nick2020 2017-09-21 14:59:39

lol

This does not seem to be going anywhere fast.

Runs 2017-09-21 15:00:39

In reply to conman

Darwin never disputed that perhaps a supreme creator did design and meant for evolutionary traits to determine which creatures survived and which did not. Intelligent design so to speak not far from Paley's clock thesis, every part was designed to serve a purpose by it's maker. wink

nick2020 2017-09-21 15:01:19

In reply to Runs

I also do not know where you are going with this.

Is this because Darwin's theory is often used by atheists?

Runs 2017-09-21 15:01:51

In reply to nick2020

This is deep stuff bro stick with your Trumptards way over your head. lol wink

conman 2017-09-21 15:07:58

In reply to Runs

but what evidence do we have to suggest that an intelligent design did play a part?

conman 2017-09-21 15:08:41

In reply to Runs

This is deep stuff bro stick with your Trumptards way over your head.

dont do that
there is nothing deep going on here

Runs 2017-09-21 15:12:19

In reply to conman

What evidence do you have against an intelligent design or creator not playing a part?

conman 2017-09-21 15:13:32

In reply to Runs

So i have to prove a claim you're making?

What evidence do you have against bigfoot not playing a part?

its easy to change that up, but you are the one making the claim, now back it up

Runs 2017-09-21 15:15:12

In reply to conman
You brought up Bigfoot, what's up with all the questions? I am only stating his findings. cool

conman 2017-09-21 15:17:31

In reply to Runs

you call it intelligent design i call it bigfoot, neither of us have evidence to disprove the other

Im wanting to know how you can say

Intelligent design can be tied into Darwin's theory of natural selection. wink

Runs 2017-09-21 15:26:52

In reply to conman

He never really answered that question, where did this all begin.
Remember around his time biblical scholars thought earth was roughly 6k years old.

conman 2017-09-21 15:31:11

In reply to Runs

He never really answered that question, where did this all begin.

but how does that lead to

Intelligent design can be tied into Darwin's theory of natural selection. wink

Runs 2017-09-21 15:40:09

In reply to conman

"The impossibility of conceiving that this grand and wondrous universe with our conscious selves arose through chance, seems to me the chief argument for the existence of God" - cool

conman 2017-09-21 15:44:48

In reply to Runs

so you got no evidence

correct?

"The impossibility of conceiving that this grand and wondrous universe with our conscious selves arose through chance, seems to me the chief argument for the existence of BIGFOOT" -
cool

Runs 2017-09-21 15:46:59

In reply to conman

That was Darwin brother, am discussing him not me. You are arguing another topic. The man said he was Agnostic. wink
We are speaking about his theory on Natural Selection not some mythical creature. cool

nick2020 2017-09-21 15:47:11

In reply to Runs

Good advice. Thanks.

conman 2017-09-21 15:53:04

In reply to Runs

but what does his belief or lack there of in a intelligent design have to do with the science he put forth?

conman 2017-09-21 15:55:33

In reply to Runs

That was Darwin brother, am discussing him not me

did another runs post

Intelligent design can be tied into Darwin's theory of natural selection. wink

conman 2017-09-21 15:56:46

In reply to Runs
