Red Force vs Regional XI for hurricane victims
The Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) is organising a charity Twenty20 match featuring a Red Force XI and Regional XI to aid our Caribbean neighbours whose lives have been ravaged by Hurricanes Irma and Maria. According to a source, the match is tentatively scheduled for October 7 and will be held at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain.
Several big names are being earmarked for the Regional XI including hard hitting Jamaican Chris Gayle and other T20 stars.

The TTCB, the SPORTT and the Queen’s Park Oval Authorities have now gotten together to stage a hurricane relief fund raiser at the Oval on October 14.
All parties will host a press conference today at the Oval at 10.15am to reveal details of a clash between a West Indies XI led by former captain Darren Sammy and a full strength Red Force team led by Keiron Pollard.
All proceeds from the T20 match will go towards hurricane relief efforts in the Caribbean.
