GCB Election heating up
In reply to doosra
One of the biggest service that folks like Ronnie, Hoops, Shiv (later) can do is to stand up for these GCB elections.
Sure they have been victims of GCB and WICB.
But there will be no sweeter revenge than to FIGHT THE MAFIA!!!

Watch next year after Dinas and Ganga win in T&T
You will see more of past cricketers taking charge of stakeholders.
Only then will CWI fortunes change.

It is good to see some people getting to understand my long Crusade against
the WICBC/CWI & the Regional Boards .
These Cricket Boards have for years
been bastions of Arrogant Cantankerous Egotistical Idiots , and that is putting it mildly .
Supported by their many Boot Lickers
in the Media , whose modus operandi
is to only train their Criticism on
the Players .
Let me once again state this fact :
IF WE WANT CRICKET IN THE REGION TO
IMPROVE THEN WE HAVE TO START AT THE
TOP .
THIS MEANS THERE MUST BE A TOTAL
RESTRUCTURING OF THE WICBC/CWI &
THE REGIONAL BOARDS. THESE ENTITIES
ARE POPULATED WITH PEOPLE UNINTRESTED
IN EXERCISING GOOD GOVERNANCE ;
TRANSPARENCY & ACCOUNTABILITY .
The above must be done before Players
can be criticized . They have this
absolutely asinine idea , that Governments cannot intervene in Cricket which the ICC also mistakenly believes .
Where the Hell was the ICC when the
Government of Guyana took the GCB to
Court ?????
Where was the ICC when on 4 separate
occasions , the President Of Palistan
SACKED THE PAKISTAN CRICKET BOARD ;
APPOINTED A CHAIRMAN & AN AD HOC
COMMITTEE UNTIL THERE WAS FRESH
ELECTIONS FOR OFFICERS IN THE PCB .
A few years ago the BCCI suffered the
wrath of the India Supreme Court , the Judges verbally slapped around the Top Officials of the BCCI in Court . I do not recall the almighty
ICC sending its President , Vice President ; Secretary or Others to
speak to the Court on behalf of the
BCCI .
INTERESTINGLY THE BCCI WAS TARDY IN
IMPLEMENTING THE CHANGES RECOMMENDED
BY THE LODHAR COMMISSION . THE INDIA
SUPREME COURT THEN REMOVED BOTH THE
PRESIDENT & SECRETARY FROM THEIR
OFFICIAL POSITIONS IN THE BCCI .
I did not hear or read that the Almighty ICC did one blasted thing
about what the India Supreme Court
did .
FRANKLY WHEN MATTERS OF CRICKET ARE
IN COURT , THE ICC IS AKIN TO BEING
A FREAKING TOOTHLESS TIGER , DUE TO
BEING RENDERED IMPOTENT BY THE COURTS

When did you have dat Saul on de road to DSamascus moment and start dis long campaign? I hope its not after February 2008 when your homeboy and padna ceased to be President of the Windwards Board.
How many decades was he President?
In reply to Maispwi
If you check the archives , you would see that I have always been ESPECIALLY critical of the Windward Islands Cricket Board .
I am on record in this Forum stating that the reduction of Windward Islands matches from 4 days; to three & then 2 was totally unacceptable .
I have stated that it is disgusting that the Cricket Boards in the Windward Islands cannot each raise
10,000.00 yearly is a travesty .
So please spare me your B.S . In this
Forum I have stated that there must be Term Limitations . You have always
persisted in stating the the same Freaking Feces .
Which apparently validates that You are probably mentally Ill , because
you keep repeating the same B.S all
the Time . While ignoring the central
Issues that I state .
Good to see Sars supporting reform in Guyana cricket administration. He's backing a good man - Hilbert Foster (Basil Butcher's son, I believe) of Rose Hall Town. Sars and company will need a sound strategy to defeat a group based on corruption and divisiveness over several decades, starting with the Chetty administration.
Other ex-Test cricketers, like Roger Harper, failed to defeat this corrupt lot, by leaving doubts about his unselfishness in the cricket business.
Though corrupt, however, the Chetty lot has shown good business sense in, and dedication to, the task of running Guyana cricket. The problem has been the divisive practice of rewarding players and officials from supporting clubs, while shamelessly ignoring those from opposing clubs.
If Sars and company build their strategy on exposing those divisive practices, while keeping the progressive acts of the current cabal, they may just win.
That would be a humongous relief for Guyana cricket and would probably help to remove Dave and company as well.
Go, Sars!
