what is the best test squad we can put forward with three weeks to go? Should we persevere with Powell (avg 23.66) and Dowrich (avg 4.80)?

Brathwaite
Powell
Hope
Blackwood
Chase
Dowrich
Holder
Bishoo
Roach
Gabriel
Joseph
...only change will be Joseph for Cummins.Hamilton is playing in the A team vs SL along with Ambris.Andre Fletcher could be considered as a wkpr he avgs 30 in FC..I think Dowrich should go back to FC cricket and regain some confidence but I really see no clear replacement...Browne will not go back to Ramdin.

Reifer and Hetmyer also to retain their places in the squad.

Hetmyer could easily play in front Joseph the third pacer but we need to boost this rising stars confidence.

Yes Kieran keeps his place, he is one of the few who appeared to know what they were doing in England even though he dint have runs to show for it

I guess Reifer will retain his place since he didnt do anything wrong, however IMHO he serves no useful purpose. He should go back and help Guyana win tournament. I would replace him with Thomas/Smith or some other young fast bowling prospect..

Also pencil in Evin Lewis in the squad, could be a good chance to get his feet wet as a #3 test bat.

I would replace Reifer with a spinner, as Zimbabwe do have some venues where spinners do okay. Maybe either Cornwall, Warrican or Nurse could be selected.

Cornwall not getting selected anytime soon. From the little I have seen of him, he doesnt look like a test spinner.
Warrican is not on the horizon.
Nurse doesnt look like a test spinner to me

To be honest I have not seen any good upcoming spinners

The break between the end of the second test in Zimbabwe and the start of the warm up game in new Zealand on November 25 is just enough time to allow Jermaine Blackwood darren bravo evin Lewis and ronsford Beaton to play t20s in bangladesh. ...if picked.

Well if it take you more that a second in thinking to come up with a spinner who is better alternative than the three spinners I named, then that spinner does not deserve a selection to the WI team.

Nikita Miller has better first class returns than all three.

Warrican 137 first class wickets at 20.10.

Nurse 130 first class wickets at 23.51.

Cornwall 141 first class wickets at 24.41.

Miller 461 wickets at 16.54. Might as well give him a chance.
