Did you actually see dem and if you did is it the pace that makes you sit up and pay attention
In reply to Oilah
No I wasn't in St Catherine....this is a newspaper report...Javon Searles and Shamar Springer took one wicket each on opposing teams.
Clarke died in 1999...this youngster seems around 19-21...he has already played some cricket in Eng and SA.

looked at this yesterday. Must get back to real pacers. About time. Hope Cummins and the like get passed by now. He is too soft to beccalled s fast bowler.
In reply to Oilah
I heard Harding is the quickest of the lot hitting above 140kph constantly.

Barbados PCL 4-Day Practice Barbados Williams XI v Barbados Stoute XI
Bim great enough to field two go-it-alone teams!
hmm..I see BENN playing in the trials...once Benn is playing it means an automatic Barbados play and a probable WI play in some format....nuff man here ain gine like that!

What is young Clarke clocking? Do you have any 144 km/h (90m/h) bowlers or just more of the Holder, Cummins and Stoute, Kenroy Williams stuff on one side of the wicket to get out impatient regional batsmen?
In reply to Larr Pullo
Good fix. Next issue is whether each action is under the 15 degrees limit.
In reply to Headley
Harding alone is faster than any of the Cummins, Holder type ...and all reports are Chemar Holder and Shakeem Clarke are faster than that crowd too.
In reply to analyst-kid
Chemar s action is suspect to me.... I hate to say it because there's a lot to like about him but unless his action has changed since the U19 WC he will come unstuck.
Never seen Clarke but he was described in an article about a year or so ago as slower than his father (hardly surprising) and fast medium.
Watching Harding on the live stream last year he looked skiddy and pacy...would be interesting to see a speed gun on him.. I know he was described as the fastest net bowler in the Bajan fc squad last year.

Much thanks. That is good news. I am sick of these non-threatning fast bowlers. I will not pay good money to watch fellows bowl at 80mph and I suspect many others feel the same way too. When we have real pace bowlers folks will line up to see a genuine contest between bat and ball.
Good bowling is necessary to create good batsmen.
If will be interesting to see which fast bowlers get a pick on the Barbados team....the batting is not strong and the allrounders will no doubt carry the batting as they did when the WI players were out earlier this year:
Stoute, Greaves, Williams and newbie Shamar Springer.
The spinners will no doubt pick themselves as all are FC bullies:
Warrican,Benn and Nurse
the batting Aaron Jones,Alleyne and wkpr Rampersaud
Whatever happens two new fast bowlers will start for Barbados...both Chemar Holder and Keon Harding have List A experience so they are hot favorites.

Just heard Chemar Holder speaking on the Round Table, he is leaving for a three month training in Australia, at their Academy.

kool, good news

That is lovely. More players need to be exposed to such academies.
MRF pace foundation in India is a good one too. May be some can be sponsored to go there.
