Any updates guys on WI(A) vs SL(A)...
I looked at the weather forecast -says rain in the afternoon...not sure if this has happened and that's why we can't hear anything.

Dis is pathetic
In reply to Maispwi
endorsed
All dats needed for regularly updated scorecards is some WiFi and a decent scoring program like Total Cricdket Scorer.
And de major sponsor supposed to be a telecommunications company. Wat could be so difficult?
In reply to robbo Keon Joseph...how good is he?

Keon Joseph has been around for some time now.. he is 25 turning 26 soon. Haven't seen that much of him and when I have he has looked fairly innocuous..one time however he looked really good, fast, threatening and hostile..not sure which is the 'real' Joseph. His first class record is pretty good and he has performed consistently when given opportunities with the A team.
In reply to robbo thanks for the update

i cant agree with you more . They say white clothe cricket is dying but they fail to realize that the lack of exposure is killing it . The fans they have left deserve better
I am currently in Jamaica with some free time during the weekend. I am willing to attend the A Team game and provide ball by ball commentary in return for a large sum of money
In reply to Walco
so you gonna start off at $10 JA$ per hour?
In reply to Walco
We will not buy 'puss ina bag' or as you Bajans say 'cat in bag'. We need to see your work and make an assessment. Then again you might start off good and fall off badly, like a certain well known Caribbean commentator.
Maybe if you show your stuff on Sat and you pass muster we could pay for Sun.
In reply to Headley
its ' pig in a bag ' lol
In reply to positiveg
Man that's not even enought to buy a bag juice to quench my thirst. If memory serves me correctly, that stadium does not have covered seating, so lots of bag juice will be necessary
In reply to Walco... 2 hrs buy you one.
In reply to Headley
Maybe if you show your stuff on Sat and you pass muster we could pay for Sun.
If there is one thing I have learned doing business in the Caribbean over the years it's that if you don't get paid up front you likely will have to wait at least six months for payment or you will get no pay at all

FIRST MATCH REPORT:
It's pelting rain in Kingston this morning. Bag juice salesmen and saleswomen likely will take the day off. Timely start to the day's play highly unlikely.
CHEK DAT. The match is in Trelawny, not Kingston. Assuming that it's raining in Trelawny because it's raining in Kingston is like assuming it's raining in St Lucia because it's raining in Barbados
In reply to Walco
Oh no!
On a serious note btw, was hoping for an 'on the spot' review from you of Ambris' performance...........hope we get some play
In reply to Walco
Even in trelawny the weather varies. It rains more in the cockpit country of South trelawny than it does in North trelawny.
Greenfield is in South or north trelawny? It's Florence Hall right?
In reply to mikesiva
Greenfield is in northern Trelawny. Cockpit is more central to southern.
In reply to mikesiva
Greenfield is in north Trelawny close to Falmouth.
In reply to Discourse
Unfortunately I'm currently in Kingston and will not be able to watch any cricket until tomorrow.
In reply to Walco
ok bro......opportuned delay therefore, maybe you'll see them bat tomorrow
or maybe not, another wkt down
Friend of mine live just down the road from the Stadium. Says it started raining when ahe drove out 6am. Not sure how it is now. She in Kingston

What else in performances does this young man need to do to show that he should be playing for the West Indies cricket team?

According to Cricinfo, the only reason why Pushpakumar is not in the SL Test team is because Herath is still around, he looks like he ready for prime time with this performance.
OK, heres my match report. Well maybe not a match report, but a report nonetheless
So I drove up to the stadium and approached the main gate where I was told by a pleasant gentleman from the JCA who told me the admission fee was $500, which I paid.
As the JCA official was opening the gate to allow me to drive into the stadium grounds, he asked whether I would give a ride to the stadium to one of our selectors. I said yes and asked if it was a JCA selector and he responded, no a West Indies selector. A pleasant gentleman with a bajan accent got into my car and I immediately asked if his name was Courtney Browne. He responded yes, and a long conversation about West Indies cricket ensued.
But to make a long story short, I saw very little cricket even though I was there at the stadium. A few things to report though. I commented to Browne that Cornwall looked smaller in person than he looks on TV, and Browne responded that Cornwall has lost 30 pounds since the CPL. I left the stadium after the West Indies lost the first wicket (Campbell). It does not appear that I missed much.
