Best is a comparative word. There is no best. West Indies has ONE batsman and his name is Shai Hope.

That kind of approach should bring fans rushing through the gates. I was at Discovery bay yesterday to watch a Masters final,and the crowd was ten times what i saw at Sabina earlier in the year when we played Pakistan.

I get that West Indies is rebuilding

I get that they’re trying not to lose games and if they happen to win in the process, so be it

I get that they’re trying to be disciplined at the crease and not give away their wickets

BUT

If you’re an international class batsman, you should be able to put away bad balls. Or at least TRY to.

These guys are playing to survive and frustrate the opposition.
