This issue has been a source of puzzlement to me. Grateful if anyone could assist to add clarity.
The question is, if one encounters a snake in the bush and a part of the snake is exposed and the remainer remains hidden, how can one determine what percentage of the snake is exposed.

Wait! Yuh suggesting that it was a well known snake and that is why the sighting caused so much distress and speculation about whether it was 50% that was exposed.

As a snake man yuh would know that from time to time a lady will sit on a really big 'mackawell' thinking it is a log.
What I don't understand is how in that distressed state a lady could have the presence of mind to estimate or as Dan De Lion suggests to calculate the length of the snake.
