The show needs a new format, them name doctors that never played at the highest level, should be part of the callers.
Tino will add more to the show, he is not sleepy.

The dude that is there every Tuesday is boring, it is a cricket show
I am rating Midwicket ahead of his show

If his show is regional, lets hear from regional experts, and regional listeners, he just don't need the present panel.
His present panel add very little to the discussion.
BTW, I do have a problem with the same callers every Tuesday on Midwicket

There is a lesson to be learnt from this ...and hopefully other cricketers learn to be aware and not get "trapped" into ignorant situations...and more importantly...be prepared to defend their character and brand immediately too!

Mr.Thorne made an error when he said the alleged incident re Gayle could be seen as a criminal offense.

POINT 2017-10-31 21:29:52

In reply to powen001

THEY are ALL a bunch of WICBC/CWI BOOT

LICKERS WHO HAVE FOR MANY YEARS NOW

HAVE BY THEIR REFUSAL TO BE CRITICAL

OF THOSE IN THE GOVERNANCE OF CRICKET

IN THE REGION HAVE DELIBERATELY

RETARDED THE COMPETITIVENESS OF OUR

PLAYERS IN THE iNTERNATIONAL CRICKET

ARENA .

They all need to walk around in Sack Clothes & Ashes for the atonement for their Sins . The problem is that they themselves think of themselves as being Petty Gods .

I really relish hearing the Utterances of these JOKERS .Ask him when he is going to ask the Big Idiots when the Wehby Report is going to be made Public .

SINCE THE DEATH OF COZIER THERE HAS

BEEN ABSOLUTELY NO CREDIBLE SPORTS

JOURNALIST IN THE REGION , THEY ARE

ALL THE BOOT LICKERS OF THOSE IN THE

WICBC .

POINT 2017-10-31 21:40:31

It is generally the rule that females
knock at the Door , and ask if they can come into a Male Locker Room .

Now if this Protocol was not followed
then Gayle had no case to answer .
Hopefully Our Players have learned a very valuable lesson regarding this Issue .

That lesson is that there are people out there with a serious intention to get easy money . It would be interesting to know how many women are permitted to barge in the Locker Rooms of Men who are playing matches in International Cricket, without knowing whether Players are dressed or undressed .

It is Mr. Gayle who filed the claim! He is not the defendant.

Now it is not in the writing but in the publishing that the libel exists. So here goes:

A newspaper gets a story and instead of checking it out thoroughly - including asking Mr. Gayle for his comments - it goes ahead recklessly and publishes it, and in the process libels Mr. Gayle.

Mr. Gayle sues for defamation.

The paper does not have a leg to stand on because it has not done its work. The jury finds for Mr. Gayle and against the paper.

Mr. Gayle wins!

Simple syllogism.

QED.

Now what's so hard to understand about that?

POINT 2017-11-01 07:20:08

In reply to Ewart

I agree with what You have stated ,the point I am making is that Women Reporters should not be in a Men's Dressing Room , without those in the Dressing having advance Notice .

My take also as I have stated is that
Professional Players in the Region should have Lectures regarding Members of the Public , attempting to fleece them by bringing frivolous suits .

This is done to All Rookie Professional Players in Major Sports
in the United States . In my opinion
the onus is on the WICBC/CWI & WIPA
to ensure that Our Players are alerted about these Pitfalls .
