In reply to Pacy... more like clueless!

De great Viv tell mih to play mih natural game....suh me ah play mih natural game....mih naah ah change ah ting
In reply to Narper
That seems to be the problem... He does have natural flair but then again he seems to be too casual in his approach.
I am worried that Samuels comes to my mind when I see his approach.
In reply to Pacy
Marvelous Marlon was never this reckless.
In reply to runout... more like, jus as dumb.
Right now, he probably does not know what to do.

Back to the drawing board when yo reach them phase here. None bad about it, people can always take inspiration from the fact that Steve Smith started as a leggie, then an all rounder and now the best test batsman in the world by a long shot!! Being out the team for a while doesn't mean it's the end of the road, it gives you a chance to come back better than ever.
Problem with windies players is when they get drop, they don't go and work harder on their game. Instead they complain about who don't like them and go "live the life" and not study them cricket.

Isn't there a batting coach on tour?
Isn't that the job of a coach at this level to assist the batsman...in this case identifying a strategy to play the spinners....
OR
Has Blackwood rejected all advice from the coach....then we know what should happen
He should be dropped for the second innings.
In reply to Narper
Or sometimes yuh cyan get it do whuh the coach telling yuh
In reply to runout
Marvelous Marlon was never this reckless but had been equally careless
In reply to Narper
Blackwood feels he can hit his way into a test innings everytime.
What exactly did my bwoy JayBee did/didnt do?!

Blackwood needs a man like Shiv at the other end to keep talking to him.
He did well when Shiv was around.
It is such a pity that there are no senior world class players around to talk to these guys out in the middle.
Even Lil Bravo could now be called a senior...but alas...he too has gone.
Ramdin may be of help....but when he did play he was not consistent as a batsman in test
In reply to Narper... was just coming to hand (Ramdin) and dropped.

Cant blame some of them for doing that especially when they see others doing just as badly or worse and still playing.
That is West Indies cricket.

You seem to be condoning the behavior. If you a serious professional, you take care of the things that you control, your performance. If you cant recover from a drop, and come back stronger, maybe they were right to drop you in the first place.
In reply to Baje
Well said.
In reply to Baje
I am not condoning anything. I am just saying how some players, not Barbadian, if they get dropped would feel the way back is hopeless.
