Well done Dowrich

Lots of vultures waiting for you to fail but we know you can play.

Good knock young man keep them waiting.

Dowrich was sheer class today, mixing nimble footwork with positive intent and Holder too showed his solidity once again. As the pair blossomed, the Zimbabweans started to wilt. With the lead swelling, pressure is mounting on the hosts on a crumbling surface.

He's good to go 25 more tests, different rules apply for him,in the meantime let's hope he learn to keep as well.

because he scored a fifty against Zim?...i don't think that is the case, but whether he plays against NZ or not Ramdin is not the answer either, i would rather see Ambris or Hamilton keep wicket than return to Ramdin, If Darren Bravo can wake up and take the number 3 slot would even be better

In reply to Ray123... more like waiting for him to perform, he been failing or you never noticed. Bajan glasses?

How many tests did Ramdin play before he got dropped

Ambris is NOT a Wicket-Keeper at this stage of his career, so please stop including him in any Wicket-Keeping conversation.
He is purely a specialist batsman - let's keep it that way.

Well done Shane, I hope he continues from here

I know he has kept wicket in the past, which suggest there is ability there, however my Post did not declare him a wicket keeper, it just stated I would RATHER see....

hope you see the difference

Thanks for the clarification, and I agree that at an earlier stage in his career he was a wicket-keeper. Recently, he has been playing as a specialist batsman and he has been productive - some people may disagree but I think he has more to offer as a specialist batsman than as a batsman that wicket-keeps.

well there are two spots in the balance the Number 3 and the wicket keeper, if DM Bravo opts to play that spot is gone, he will need to get past Hetmyer should Bravo Opt not to play. I am not ready to dump Blackwood I think something is there, But Ambris should be in the squad to NZ

A welcome return to form. My assessment had been that after he was hit in the head by a fast-bowler, he was a bit gun-shy and lost confidence. Hopefully, this innings so far will help him re-discover the batsman and stroke-player that he is. I hope he can get his first test ton. Go-Dow (Not go down) !!!

Used to be a guy for these type of situations, glad he could finally realize his potential.
