Cummins is goings nowhere and right now Blackwood is just driftwood.

timeless99 2017-11-01 13:42:34

Cummings is not international quality and blackwood should be allowed to play 4 day cricket and an extra keeper must be on that plane

Ambris & Shai Hope are both part-time keepers, so while it's not ideal, it's possible that they'll be the back-ups.

natty_forever 2017-11-01 16:53:33

Kyle and Blacks ... back to FC. Dowrich gets another tour. Who the fack is Cummins.

If we didn't know better we would think that you're privy to the info on the actual makeup of the team.

I agree with most of your squad, except the ones in BOLD.

KB
Powell (but wont be dropped because of 2X50s vs Zim Lollipops)
Hety
Shai
Chase
Ambris
Dowrich (but wont be dropped because of 1X100 vs Zim Lollipops)
Holder
Bishoo
Roach
Gabriel

.....

Lewis
Blackwood (I would drop him and pick J Mo instead)
Joseph
Cummins (team needs a backup spinner: Jacobs has done well recently)

Lollipops or not, they still scored the runs. Kyle nor Jermaine scored anything, so Dowrich and Powell deserve their credit.

timeless99 2017-11-02 08:43:10

To be honest Dowrich should be drop he is not good enough as a keeper he could cost Wi this test match

dayne 2017-11-02 08:48:50

I think it might be wise to give Keon Joseph a try, he is penetrative when given a chance to play for the A team, however Kyle Hope and Blackwood do not look like they are in Test match form at the moment. With some other guys performing at the moment I cannot see how they could be fairly persisted with. Also, what is the purpose of Reifer on the squad? I do not see him replacing anyone in the Test team if an injury occurs.

has he dropped some?

Bishoo to Chakabva, 1 run, induces the edge, and dropped! Full on off, and straightens after pitching, takes a thick outside edge off the bat, and hits the keeper's gloves, falls just where first slip was standing, but the fielder at slip had moved to his left expecting the catch and not the deflection off Dowrich's glove. Bishoo ain't pleased

timeless99 2017-11-02 09:01:49

A keeper should be pick first of all because he is a competent keeper and not because he has ability with the bat there's 5 or 6 other guys pick to bat your job is to hold your catches

I know for certain he is the worst Bajan captain I have ever seen....we had men like Sobers,Holford,Padmore,Best and Browne.

I feel even Sherwin Campbell, Wallace and Ryan Hinds were better captains.

In ODIS..statistics willl show he is the worst skipper ..EVER..in terms of W/L

In Tests he defintely is the most timid I have ever seen..and there have been some pretty timid ones post Lara..

Replace Cummins with Keon Joseph.

I'm not convinced that Lewis is even interested in playing Test cricket. His last FC match was in March. His last international was in September, and yet he has chosen not to play four-day cricket for Trinidad in the PCL. He didn't turn out for Trinidad in the first round. I think that tells me he only wants to play limited overs cricket....

Lewis is recovering for a broken bone in his ankle after the 173 runs inning he made in England a few weeks ago.

timeless99 2017-11-02 12:01:26

two test has left more questions than answer.
Can Holder keep his place as one of the front line bowlers?
Is Dowrich a good enough keeper at test level?
Is one score of note good enough to guarantee Powell and Dowrich they place?

Lewis played in US open T20 last weekend, has a T20 contract to go BPL.
