Man City, Spurs and Liverpool are the teams that play the most attacking football in the league and of the three, Spurs have the best defence. They are the best balanced team in the league and have done so by spending the least of the so called "big six". The only thing phucking them up is squad strength in depth. In that regard, they are the weakest of the big six. But when Pochettino can pick his best XI, they can play football with anybody.

Milner took all pens last season and missed only one. Now that he is no longer a sure starter, Klopp has been trying to find a replacement. So far neither Firminho nor Salah have been able to make the role their own.

Yep...many managers claim they are the best by spending millions and buying players - Pep, Mourinho, Conte just sign cheques.
Spurs and Pochettino develop and make them stars while playing beautiful game and yes, depth in the squad can be our downfall!
Woke up this morning and it wasn't a dream...Sensational football last night by Spurs!
In reply to NineMiles

Kane plays- Tottenham wins
One man outfit

In reply to Halliwell
Steups...did you see Alli and Ericksson boss the game?

Not to mention the defenders. Even after Alderweireld went of injured after 20 mins or so, Eric Dier slotted at the back and together with Vertonghen and Davidson Sanchez kept Ronaldo and co out until the 80th min.
Trippier and winks were also immense!
And we need to keep hold of Pochettino for the future success of the team!
Shortly before half-time on a thrilling, boisterous European night, there was a moment of rare comedy at Wembley. Tackling back in his own half, Harry Winks let an arm trail lightly across Casemiros shoulder, only for the Brazilian to reel back, stunned, tumbling over backwards desperately. Casemiro didnt want the ball. He wanted a break. He wanted his free‑kick.
Ten minutes into the second half something similar happened. As Marcelo rumbled upfield Dele Alli sprinted 40 metres in an arc to harry him and eventually concede another foul as Marcelo crumpled gratefully. Marcelo didnt really want the ball, either.
Alli bellowed at the fourth official, then at his manager. A minute later, still running on anger, he did something both wicked and beautiful to Casemiro just outside the Real Madrid box. Picking up a loose ball Alli slalomed forward, put Casemiro on his backside again with a lovely playground feint, then drove a shot into the back off the net via a deflection off Sergio Ramos.
Spurs were 2-0 up. Alli had his second goal. The stadium gurgled and bellowed, consumed by the most engrossing night of elite-level football involving a bunch of Englishmen this place has seen since its re-inception as modern Wembley.
Tottenhams English core put Real Madrid stars in the shade
A beautiful write up!
Congrats to Tottenham
They are at the level of Girona now, who also beat Real this week
Maybe a play off is in order
And here is another:
And this was glorious. The European champions were humbled. As Eriksen pointed out, if Spurs had shown a little more composure, they would have had more. If Harry Kane had been fully fit, perhaps, they would have had more. If Spurs had been able to believe quite what was happening, they would have had more. Dele Alli admitted he was astonished by the amount of space Madrid had allowed them.
Tottenhams defeat of Real Madrid is a warning to Europes super-clubs
