THE STATS DON'T LIE

People laugh at the stats but when u really look at them...they make a lot of sense.

EXHIBIT ONE

The WI A TEAM.....For the 5th straight innings these guuys continue to crumble against Sri Lanka bowling...and Sri Lanka we know are traditional poor travellers.

But look at the stats...except for AMBRIS avg 54.52 in List A and McCarthy avg 37.00+ in List A all of the selected batsmen in FC and List A all have poor sub 30.00 avgs...no wonder they are consistently failing with the bat!

EXHIBIT TWO

THE BARBADOS PRIDE TEAM

This team...on their home ground which is practically always good for batting, struggles to score 100 against a Leewards attack led by Louis and Tonge....But look at the stats...the highest avg batsman in the Pride is Carter avg 30.28..next is Justin Greaves avg 29.76...all the rest avg below!

THE STATS DON'T LIE!

It's why i Keep saying, how can we expect to be a winning international team and our men them can't even average 30+, regionally nor internationally. And that's why Ambris should have played all 5 ODIs against England in the UK.

Andre McCarthy also needs a look in. From memory, he been holding up Jamaica in List A cricket for last 3 years or so.

The Bim team that lost seems rather inexperienced and the guys with experience aside from Nurse didnt pull their weight.

Anyway sometimes you learn more from losing than winning. Maybe they will put their boots up or the selectors will make changes that lead to winning.

I expected that by now You would have come to the realization that Windward
Islands Players are generally an after thought by the WICBC/CWI and many in this Forum .

Ambris needs to be careful , there are forces out there willing to end his career before it has even stated .
He needs to realize that HE has to work 7 times harder at his game than Players from the other Islands . This
aint fiction , but a freaking Fact .

Worse than that the Windward Islands
Cricket Board , and the Jokers in SVG
will not state one blasted thing on Ambris behalf ; HE needs to realize that he is on his own , and as a result must work very hard to become
a permanent member of the Team .

There are people in the Region who want him to fail , so that he can then be quickly discarded . It is easier for a Bowler from the Windward
Islands to get on the West Indies Team , than a Batsman from the Windward Islands .

Many were calling for Carter to the test team. Hes been around for 10 years and just average 30. He has average 28-29 for most of his career. 30 is an all time high for him
