So who playing home for Bim....fake bajans and muddies and dotties? wink

And ah hear, SIR EVerton Weekes, Sir Wesly Hall, Sir Gary Sobers, Gordon Greenidige, Desmond Haynes were at the grong watching

And watching from above Sylvester Clarke and Malcolm Marshall

sunfish 2017-11-02 18:54:24

Well this is the most inexperienced Bajan team I've ever seen so I'm not surprised at the result. We're looking at least 3 men on debut in Jones, Clarke and the other leftie opener whose name escapes me now.

We just do not have players that are ready to replace, guys at the International or A team level.
Now that Brooks is back, I hope Harding is included in the X111, and the team is allow to develop.
You will soon hear the St. Catherine supporters complaining about the team, because Williams may be one of the guys drop for the next series.

They might very well bring in Benn to take some shame off they face and let Warrican sit down.

I would love to see Harding and Springer in the squad too.

Brooks most likely the only batsman coming in.

Bestian 2017-11-03 08:10:49

Stoute's handling of the team was quite poor, especially how he treated the young pacer Shakeem Clarke. When you play selfish cricket, that's the sort of result you get.

I agree that space must be found for those two guys and going forward, Lenicko Boucher, Zachary McCaskie and Nicholas Kirton at some point during the next couple of seasons.

pariaman 2017-11-03 08:31:00

I still expect that CB will find a way to select bajans on WI teams

Logic cuss me for saying this although Best and the other comms also were saying this.

But as openning rightfully pointed out..Stoute in competition with them men for a play.

Drapsey 2017-11-03 09:34:31

So, the Hurricane(s) blew away any Pride to which the arguably hapless Bajans might've laid claim.

We must be honest and see our U17 and U19 players, are not having success at the Regional level.
Only one or two guys is in the U19 WC, the performances this year was not up to the normal standards.
Jameel Stuart and players at the U13 level, are the players I am watching

this has merit, and is disappointing. Harding and Springer need to be in the final eleven...

Those guys that I mentioned were all part of winning Barbados teams

robbo 2017-11-03 13:57:39

Has Clarke done enough to stay ?... he bowled better in this match although he was given limited opportunities..he still looks s bit innocuous to me..try Harding next game ?

Since he has been selected, he should be allowed to develop within the team.
It would be interesting to see he and Harding bowling together
Brooks will had more to the batting, but Alleyne and Carter, has to be more consistent.

The joke is that you have a Bim team with 3 out and out spinners in it. Cannot see why young players like Springer and Harding sitting at home. This is the perfect season to blood new players.
