"He brings a vast amount of experience to our young and exciting batting line-up. The influence he has in the changing room is fantastic. He's a class act and showed that last year with the three centuries he hit."

"I've really enjoyed playing my part both on the field scoring as many runs as possible, but also as a mentor to some of our younger players. Hopefully I can continue to pass on some of my knowledge and experience to them.

A pity them not saying that Shiv taking a youth-man spot. And how he gon get lick-down.
Figures that's only Windians way of thinking.

The team is happy to have him there...go ahead Shiv mek money have fun. Cricket is runs snd runs is cricket. Don't stop.

Sometimes the truth stares us right in our face, yet we are loathe to recognize or accept it as such. wink

Congrats to Shiv and Lancs!

This says a lot about WI cricket admin, and fans supporting Shiv's exclusion from the WI tean - again.

Anyway, WI beat the mighty Zim over a series and even managed a win in England, so the "we don't need Shiv" crowd must be breathing easy again.

Who did we beat when Shiv was there?

I ask the following question with no malice whatsoever.
Did Amy take him to the cleaners?

In reply to FuzzyWuzzy

Go for it. Tell us why Shiv should be excluded from WI cricket today, using whatever you choose.

In reply to Priapus

Regardless of Shiv's life away from cricket, Lancs are reaping the benefits of WI folly.

Very Well Stated , the Big Idiots in the governance of Cricket in the Region are so filled with animosity to former Players , the latter have to impart their Skills & Knowledge to
Countries outside the Region .

I am not putting Kenroy Peters in the same class of Chanderpaul , however a Club in England engaged Peters to play for them , and also to Mentor the Youngsters in that Club .

This Month Kenroy Peters is going to
Australia to play & mentor Youngsters
in that Club . Those in charge of Cricket in the Region , decided a long time ago to make Kenroy Peters Invisible .

Interestingly , Clubs in other Countries , have gladly welcomed
Chanderpaul & Kenroy Peters . Obviously those Clubs unlike the Big
Idiots in the Region , saw somethings
worthwhile in employing Chanderpaul & Kenroy Peters .
