Yeah I was thinking the same.

The video wasn't good enough to discern that. Looked clean enough.

He bowls a full length mostly, varies his pace considerably and his off cutter is big - like a quick off-break. He's obviously a thinking bowler.

Let's see if the umps have a problem with his action.

Trust me it pains me to say it but I think he is chucking.. in fact chucking a lot of deliveries... you are right in that he varies his pace a lot... that can be an indication of a chucker .. I hope I'm wrong.. I like this youth.

If he's indeed chucking many deliveries then we should hear from the umps soon enough.

I would say he appears to cock his bowling wrist for some deliveries, but his elbow appears to be straight always.

YOu're blind! He bowls a lot of back of a length deliveries, and pelts quite a few of them!

Norm 2017-11-04 16:13:46

In reply to Larr Pullo

I guess the umps are blind too.

How many umpires call a bowler on the field? How many of our players pelt in FC without censure...until they get to the top level?

Truth is, most bowlers pelt a few, including Stein, Starc, etc. They are usually good enough to get wickets with legitimate balls to not expose themselves by doing it often. Let's see if Sherfane and Keemo could keep out of trouble at the first class level.

I don't believe that Guyana umpires would deliberately turn a blind eye to pelting tho. They have been known to call "big" players on the field in the days when that was allowed.

You obviously NEVER played or were around cricket in Guyana. See WestDems post above...
