Assuming he plays another 10 years and can produce similar numbers in terms of centuries scored, he will either surpass Tendy or come very close to doing so in many departments.

He's on track to break a few of Tendy's records while playing significantly fewer matches.

I don't see Kohli scoring anywhere near 50 Test centuries, but I can see him retiring with somewhere between 55-65 ODI tons. He's on track to break Sachin's hundred 100's, as ludicrous as it may sound. Like I said, if he manages to break that record, he will do so from far fewer matches.

I would rather Virat be bored and not score against the best swing bowlers of his generation and be an extrapolated great like Viv than be like Sachin and score all those runs for real..
