Move on, stop worrying about Darren Bravo

ProWI 2017-11-05 09:41:12

Big Ego, smaller future. With time, he will look back and say to himself, what a waste of talent. But that is if he’s capable of self-reflection.

Life is full of the Dave Camerons of this world, but you don’t allow them to impede your march to greatest. That march is in your hands. Your recognition of greatest should not be influenced by the the Dave Cameron types, but by what you do and accomplish in your field of endeavour and recognition by a broader public and your own colleagues.

We are all capable of making mistakes, doing and saying the wrong things at the wrong time, but if we lack the emotional intelligence to recognize our failings we trap ourselves in our world of self-pity.

That is where Darren Bravo finds himself. He is now incapable of saying I am sorry and move on to greatest things his talents indicate he’s capable of achieving.

Big Ego, smaller future.

But the best WI batsman, by far - and the job of batsmen is to score runs.

We will see how the WI "batsmen" will fare against Boult and company in New Zealand.

Time for WI to move on from Bravo, he is what he is and nothing different! He chose this path for his career! Fack him!

Equally you ought to look at who as driven out so many players and banned them without due process...West Indies cricket didn't get where it is without leadership.

If he was the best batsman by far...why was he not the highest ranked batsman in a team of mediocre batsmen when he was pushed out?
I wish he was available, but this is no Lara or Shiv. Based on his performance over the last 5 years, best batsman or not, he has been as mediocre as the rest of batsmen.

At the time Bravo left the Nov 2016 Bravo avg was 40.00 and still is.
Only Chase with 40.25 was higher.

Your argument is not a sound one.

See the stats I posted over the past few years. You focused on an average that has been declining consistently over the past 5 years to the point where he is as mediocre as the rest.
Since Sammy gave him too slaps, he lost it.

Dude! He either wants to play fuh de WI or not, he asked and met with DC to be elegible for selection and it was granted, suh now it’s on his availability, as a WI fan I am entitled to say FUCK HIM!

Narper 2017-11-05 20:48:32

Didn't Lil B say he will be available for 2018.

It is not 2018 yet.

He will be back...hopefully with an uncluttered mind...and ready to team up with Shai Hope in the top order.
