Vincentians Cricketers to have played test cricket/

POINT 2017-11-08 15:46:38

In reply to openning

Selecting the Invisible man at age 32 , was juts something to ease their
freaking minds . Kenroy Peters was also victimized by the Windward
Islands Cricket Board . Absolutely
the Worst Cricket Board in the Region .

Let me again remind You and Others
that in an Under 19 Test Series vs
England , after the Series ended , Devon Smith was adjudged the Best Batsman & Kenroy Peters the Best Bowler .

INTERESTINGLY IN THAT SERIES BOWLING

FOR ENGLAND WAS A YOUNGSTER NAMED

JAMES ANDERSON .

Obviously the England Cricket Board
saw something in James Anderson , the
Big Idiots in the Region decided to
make Kenroy Peters Invisible .

WE will never know if the Invisible
man could have bowled faster if he got an opportunity to Play early in his Cricket Career .

What I am happy about is the freaking Fact that Clubs in England & Australia have made him visible . Currently he is Playing Cricket in Australia .

SO THE QUESTION IS THIS ; HOW IS IT

THAT PEOPLE IN ENGLAND & AUSTRALIA

THINK SO HIGHLY OF KENROY PETERS THAT

THEY ARE WILLING TO EMPLOY HIM ,

DESPITE ONLY HAVING PLAYED 1 TEST

MATCH ????????????

I cite this to illustrate that those
in the Governance of Cricket in the Region are nothing more than a Bunch of Jokers .

What make the selection and development of others, from the Leewards and Windwards, different from your Invisible man?

Ryan Hinds, Samuels, Perchie ,Deo and Wilkinson were on pars with Johnson, Watson , Clarke and others, they all failed to live up to the standard in test.
that same tour you alluding too Ryan Austin was the best bowler, he could not even made Bim team,

Look at Devon Smith's record as a test batsman , do you think the Peters would have done better than Smith as a bowler in test.

Bingo; WI are always competitive at youth levels. It's what happens between age 21 and 25 where our players plateau and other nations players keep improving.

Peters is not an exception but a norm.

In reply to tc1

LOOK WE WILL NEVER FREAKING KNOW ;

BECAUSE HE WAS NEVER EVER GIVEN AN

OPPORTUNITY TO FIND OUT WHETHER HE

COULD BOWL FASTER & IMPROVE ON HIS

BATTING .

There are two freaking Points I have made that cannot be refuted .

HE WAS A BETTER BOWLER THAN JAMES

ANDERSON AT U-19 IN THE U-19 TEST

SERIES .

ENGLAND HOWEVER DID NOT DISCARD

ANDERSON , THEY HARNESSED & HONED

HIS TALENTS SO HE IS NOW THE TOP

WICKET TAKING PACER IN THE WORLD .

THE WICBC/CWI ON THE OTHER HAND MADE

KENROY PETERS INVISIBLE BY

PERSISTENTLY IGNORING KENROY PETERS

TALENTS .

Some years ago they selected him to represent the Region in one Test Match , after continuous years of
neglecting Peters .

Kenroy Peters however has the last
Laugh on the Big Idiots , He plays &
Coaches Youngsters in England for a
Cricket Club .

This month he is going to Australia to play for a Cricket Club . The gist
of what I am stating is this :

PEOPLE OUTSIDE THE REGION ARE SO

IMPRESSED WITH KENROY PETERS , HE IS

ENGAGED TO PLAY IN ENGLAND &

AUSTRALIA .

HOWEVER IN THE REGION KENROY PETERS

IS SHUNNED . THERE HAS TO BE A

DISCONNECT SOMEWHERE IN THIS

SCENARIO.

POINT 2017-11-09 22:41:05

Suddenly , people are either stricken with Writer's Cramp ; or they understand my perspective , which I seriously do not believe .

THEY prefer to drink the Kool Aid that
the WICBC/CWI freely dispense to their
eager Boot Lickers .

I am simply illustrating the difference between Sensible People &
Dimwits . Evidently YOU take umbrage to what I have stated here .

Deal with the Truth ,and stop skirting the Freaking Issue , by dealing in SideShows .

IN THE EVENT THAT YOU MAY HAVE

FORGOTTEN IN THAT U-19 SERIES PETERS

WAS ADJUDGED AS BEING THE BEST BOWLER

IN THE SERIES . IT WAS NOT JAMES

ANDERSON .

However the ECB evidently saw that
despite being bested by Peters , did
not give up on Anderson .

Meanwhile when Peters came back to the Region he was made freaking Invisible . Try as You and other Apologists would like You cannot dispute this Freaking Fact .

ALL I AM STATING IS THAT PETERS DID

DESPITE BEING THE BEST BOWLER ,NOT

RECEIVE THE SAME TREATMENT FROM THE

THE WICBC & THE WINDWARD ISLANDS

BOARDS . NOW THERE AINT ANYONE WHO

CAN DISPUTE THIS FREAKING FACT .

When selected , Peters has always
done his best , despite the fact that
both Boards making him Invisible . He
always when selected did his best .

I have never heard Anyone claiming that he was moody , don't care etc .

THERE HAS TO BE A REASON WHY CLUBS IN

IN ENGLAND & AUSTRALIA WANT HIM TO

PLAY FOR THEM .

In essence what did they see that the
Windwards Board & the WICBC/CWI did
not see ?????

This aint Rocket Science , unless
those in the governance of both the
Windward Islands Board & the WICBC/CWI , are really not up to the
Job . Hell Peters was under 19 years
old when he showed promise .

But it was decided to make him Invisible . There can be no credible
or acceptable excuse for this B.S that tangibly demonstrates why the
Windward Islands Cricket Board in the Worst in the Region ; and the WICBC/CWI is the Worst International
Cricket Board in the Commonwealth .

You have stated the above numerous times, was that the only series that you have data on?
Don't you think your post come on like you being Insular?
What about the number of U19 players, that out-performed their counterparts, and nothing was done to assist them.
Point, I am not disputing Peters and Devon Smith's performance, what is well known to this MB, Our U19's have performed better than our seniors, for a decade or more.
Yet none of them were given any special accommodation that Peters did not get.
I remember Larry Gomes wanting the WICB to keep his WC U19 group together, that did not happen,
So for you to continue singeing out Windward Island players, shows how insular you are.

tc1 2017-11-10 19:44:55

There were many good performances on that tour in addition to Peters and Smith, Carton Baugh, Ryan Austin, etc , Many of both sides never lived up to the u19 expectations.

Dummy , at least Devon Smith got his chance , Kenroy Peters was selected
to play in 1 Test Match when he was 30+ years old .

So there is no freaking comparison ,
but apparently you never factored this into your Stupid statement .

Let me again point out to you &
others this freaking fact in a nutshell .

ENGLAND PERSISTED WITH JAMES ANDERSON

THE WICBC/CWI DISCARDED KENROY PETERS

WHO WAS A BETTER BOWLER THAN ANDERSON

IN AN U-19 TEST SERIES , THAT WAS

PLAYED IN ENGLAND .

POINT 2017-11-10 20:03:00

Please spare me your B.S . What the hell is being insular by my pointing out the freaking fact that in a U-19
Series that was played in England ,
Kenroy Peters was a better pace bowler than James Anderson .

James Anderson currently has taken more wickets than any Pacer , Peters
returned to the Region and was virtually made Invisible by both the Windwards Board & the WICBC/CWI .

What the Hell is Insular about factually stating how Peters was treated in the Region ?????

I understand Point is trying to talk about two players from the Windwards, but the fans are aware of all our U19 tournaments, we follow them.
Peters got the same treatment like all U19, after the WC.
We just won the last U19, Antigua got Joseph into the Leewards squad, he or Hetmyer not at any academy.
The only player that is in an academy is Holder, sponsored by the BCA.
As you are aware, every year two players goes to England on a scholarship,
Shai Hope is a product of the Lord Gavron scholarship program, which has nothing to do with the WICB.

Why only Peters and James Anderson comparison?
Are they any other U19 players, you are aware of, that out-performed their opponents?
Point the WICB, dropped the ball on all our U19 players, you are singling out only one.
The reason it sounds insular, Peters and Smith are the only two players from all our U19 tournaments you continue to speak about.
Again this is caribbeancricket.com, we are aware of all our cricketers, we can provide data of every player.

This is the very last time I am going to respond to You in this Post ; because it is very obvious that You
are either Playing Dumb or you are in fact dumb .

The gist of what I stated is that
While James Anderson in that series was bested by Kenroy Peters ; the ECB
did not discard him , his Talents were harnessed & honed , and he improved .

Meanwhile Kenroy Peters was discarded
in the Region to the point where essentially he became Invisible to those in the WICBC & Windwards Cricket Board . Essentially not one blasted thing was done to see if he
could be an even better bowler .

ESSENTIALLY THOSE IN CHARGE OF

CRICKET IN THE REGION DISCARDED

KENROY PETERS .

Fortunately , even at his current age
Cricket Clubs in England & Australia
have engaged him not only to Play Cricket but also to Coach Youngsters .
THE ESSENTIAL POINT IS THAT CRICKET

CLUBS IN ENGLAND & AUSTRALIA

OBVIOUSLY LIKED WHAT THEY SAW IN

PETERS AND HIRED HIM .

Those in the governance of Cricket in
the Region evidently had a different perspective from those who hired Kenroy Peters to Play Cricket & Coach
Youngsters .

I find it interesting that the perspective of those in the Region
regarding Kenroy Peters is markedly
different from his Employers in England & Australia .

This divergence of opinions , I find
puzzling , and it is this divergence
;and apparently you seem oblivious to this disparity .

So then there has to be something in
Kenroy Peters that They liked why they chose to hire him .

Peters was discarded by the
Windwards Cricket Board & the WICBC/CWI , it seems that they saw
nothing in Peters , so they virtually
made him Invisible in the Region .

Point, let me say again.
You show your insularity, by continue to single out, Peters and Smith from one tournament, when we all know, all our U19 players, got the same treatment.
Why is it, you can only compare Anderson and Peters, and not any other regional U19?
2007/08, Powell out performed Kohli
Darren Bravo had a better average than Kohli

2010 Kriagg Brathwaite and Shane Dowrich were among five batsman with the highest scores, they got the same treatment as Peters
Kyle Mayers was the top bowler, he too got the same treatment as Peters

2014
Nicholas Pooran and Tage Chanderpaul, among the top batsman in the tournament, they also got the same treatment
Ray Jordan your homie, got the same wicket as Rabada, we all know werre Rabada is in his career, while Jordan got the same treatment as every U19 player
2016 team, won the wc, the only player in an academy is young Holder, who is in Australia, courtesy of the BCA.

Hope you get my drift.

I beg to differ ; my perspective is that the Windward Islands Cricket Board is absolutely the Worst Cricket
Board in the Region .

Allow me to factually illustrate ; in
Preparation to select the Windward Islands Team to play in Regional Tournaments , Teams from Dominica ;
St. Lucia ; St. Vincent & the Grenadines & Grenada , play against
each other to select the Windward Islands Team .

THE DURATION OF THESE MATCHES FOR

SOMETIME NOW IS 2 FREAKING DAYS .

ESSENTIALLY THIS MEANS THAT 4 INNINGS

ARE CRAMMED INTO 2 FREAKING DAYS .

This Travesty is done to prepare the
Players to play in the Regional 4 days Tournament .

BTW , THIS TOURNAMENT USED TO HAVE

A DURATION OF 4 DAYS ; NOW IT IS 2

DAYS .

I cite this to illustrate that rather
than Progressing ; the Windward Islands is Regressing in Regional
Cricket . Yet the Boot Lickers in the
Windward Islands who claim to be Sports Journalists , utter nary a word on Air or in Print .

THESE MATCHES
