The ageless wonder Shivnarine Chanderpaul scored 109 (147) upon his return to the Guyana side in the Regional 4 Day Tournament today and saved Guyana from what could have been a heavy loss against the Leeward Islands as the Jaguars escaped with a draw. After being sent in to follow - on, trailing by 206 runs and Guyana struggling at 79/4, Chanderpaul managed to get the score to 268 before we was dismissed with wonderful assistance from Anthony Bramble (57*) Leon Johnson (41) and Vishaul Singh (35)

For me,whenever Shiv makes runs it just spotlights how badminded,low and nasty, the decision was to sack him unceremoniously and disrespectfully, as well as showing up the people who supported such a decision. None of Shiv's supporters would want him to play forever (realistically), but it sure was not the way to see him go.he deserved so much more and the record as well.
Look now the strike rate of the current West Indies players.

Confounded by it bro. In life we celebrate success. Shiv's story of overcoming all odds, from a humble home in Unity village to the pinnacle of success in his chosen profession is very compelling. It is a story about hard work. Dedication. Perseverance. And determination. Wonderful to teach young upcoming athletes.
