Why no Windwards v Bim threads??

Ray123 2017-11-16 18:20:28

Bim team did pretty well with the bat today but the Windwards got some crucial wickets at the right time. Still anyones, should be interesting tomorrow.

Watching Harding bowl... really struggling with run up and bowled about 5 no balls already... in between bowling some really good balls at pace... got Devon Smith out caught in slips.... he’s a natural inswinger.

jacksprat 2017-11-17 13:05:35

OOPS! TWINKLE TOES - A BIG FAT ZERO!! shock

I really expected another century.

It is indeed surprising, because he usually feasts at this level before faltering when he is summoned to perform at the higher level big grin big grin

I am not watching but would like to hear more about Harding. I see that Derval Green from Jamaica also seems to be consistent and has decent pace.

robbo 2017-11-17 13:12:16

Harding is ‘all over’ Cato... has hit him... almost got him out a couple of times with booming in swinging yorkers...he’s bowling really badly and really well at the same time !... still bowling no balls.

Greaves also bowling well... looks a bit quicker than previously and seaming it nicely.

Note carefully you said all of this and yet Harding only bowled 5 overs, nearly the least of all the bowlers.

Follow on avoided.

Windwards 225 all out.

Very inconsistent batting. Had not for the lower order of Williams,Greaves and Nurse the scores would not have been competitive.

openning 2017-11-18 15:46:16

I would like to see Springer in the playing X1
At this level Williams is a #8 or #9 batsman, Nurse is good for the T20 format
This team lacks a faster bowler to pair with Harding, and Rampersaud seem to be the only batsman, that is willing to move his feet.

In reply to analyst-kid and Openning

I have not actually been able to watch any of the games, but the scores tell me something is wrong, agreed on the investment with Springer, thanks goodness for the lower order, the top order is not putting any pressure on the guys who are on West Indies duty.

analyst-kid 2017-11-18 21:09:53

The inconsistency of Carter,Brooks and Stoute is what has Pride's batting struggling. This is two matches Carter has done nothing with the bat,(Leewards and now) Stoute before this match and now Brooks.

And yet Carter is still the leading bat.

they are the senior bats with the test players away,....they have let us down with their inconsistencies
