Iz about time!

In reply to problemjay He's not leaving by force...just being agreeable with the Generals! Luckily for him, they still have a soft spot for him.

sad

He has no choice but to agree given the circumstances. He has no say without the military behind him so of course him have to agree. Sound like force to me

If the white imperialists weren't stealing Africa there would have been no need for Mugabe to be in power all this time.
Go study dem criminals Thatcher and Reagan and get back to me.

That said the failure for well thought out succession planning in many of our countries is stunning. Too many men in all spheres think they have been appointed for life.
Meanwhile graveyards everywhere are full of indispensable folks.

He will most likely end up spending his last days in exile amongst the people he hated the most. The English.

Hope he enjoys the 5 star accommodation Tony Blair has arranged for him.

Respect for Mugabe.

Sure respect what he stood up to initially but cant ignore the crap he did to his own. Always happens. A hero comes along from within the ranks and then uses, manipulates and abuses the same people that elevated them. Good Riddance
