Barbados at the top of the order in the standings? Or even 2nd place?

The Hurricanes are likely to take 2nd spot since de Red Farce only got 1 bowling point and what appears to be .4 Fast Bowling points leaving them with 42.4 points

The Hurricanes got 1 Batting point, 3 bowling points and 2 Fast bowling points if Berrige bowls medium pace. If he doesn't then it will be 1.2 points givenig them a max of 44.6 or a minimum of 43.6

Barbados' tally should be 19.2 giving them 42.4 points

Maispwi 2017-11-20 14:56:34

My bad. Ah gave de soft Tits an extra bowling point but dey din take 3 wickets within de first 110 overs so none for dem.

Ah wonder if dis is de first team to get no batting points and no bowling points and just manage to get 2 wickets wid pace in de game

6 - Windwards Volcanoes - 21.8 points

Mikesaliva pulling a fast one. Leewards should be in 4th place.

Maispwi 2017-12-04 08:10:41

In reply to voiceofreason

According to my calculations Leewards shud have 50.2 points

Tryangle 2017-12-04 09:21:37

These decimal point standings are just crazy? Why is the formula so out of wack? Why can't they have a formula with whole numbers?

U and vor ketching at straws...dotties gwine end last and second last...Bim Z gwine finish in top three...

Natural order is restored..Bim championship titles cannot be surpassed...

Because of the fast bowling points. 0.2 points for each wicket taken by a fast bowler in a match.

Fast bowlers have to be registered by the teams.

I think its counter productive. Which captain is going to persist with fast bowlers on a turning pitch and risk losing 12 points for an outright win

Ok seer man. We will deal wid de future when it unfolds. For now Bim remains in 5th spot

Finally?

analyst-kid 2017-12-17 15:25:45

Barbados Pride with three matches to go and the return of Brathwaite,Chase,Dowrich and Cummins and possibly Roach later must be fancying their chances to win the last three matches against Windwards,Guyana and Jamaica.

What so big on winning this year, why not look at the development of the young players with in the team?
Thank god they play Springer, he would of been in my line up, right after the WC.
Not many regional players come out of the WC, with a ton and personality like this young man, he is someone that should be pencil in, on every Pride or Trident team.

I watched Springer's innings. He should be making this Bim side as a pure batsman. I guess because he bowls, he is penciled in as a late order all rounder, but folks forget he was the highest West Indies U19 scorer when we won the world cup.
Greaves has some potential. Too late for Kenroy. Carter's window of opportunity is closing fast. Shamar is the future.

Official figures may differ slightly based on the actual scores at 110 overs in each team's first innings if dey batted dat long and players registered as fast bowlers

Not me...its the selectors big on winning...they picking three spinners and underbowling the young fast bowlers.
