Sylhet Sixers vs Rangpur Riders, 22nd Match

Rangpur Riders 169 (7 wkts, 20 Ov)

Chris Gayle b Abul Hasan 50

Excellent last over from Abul. Just 4 off it and Rangpur finish with 169/7. Thanks largely to Ravi Bopara's 28 off 12. Riders were off to a thundering start by Gayle - who was a little iffy at the beginning but found his flow soon to raise his first fifty of the tournament. Baz too joined the fun with a blistering 33. They somehow lost the way once both fell, courtesy of tight bowling by the Sixers. In the end, Bopara's cameo has ensured that they boast of a competitive total.

Sylhet Sixers 55 (3 wkts, 8 Ov)

Sylhet Sixers need 115 runs in 72 balls

Andre Fletcher c Mithun b Rubel 12

Earlier in the day, it was Gayle's show. He took his time to get his eye in and after that he went berserk. Other BPL teams, watch out for this big Jamaican! That's all we have from this game.

Much-needed win for Rangpur Riders. They will get out of the last position with this win. What a comeback from Mortaza's men! At 25-3, Nasir Hossain was joined by Sabbir Rahman and they went after the Riders' bowlers with a century stand.
At the end of 16 overs, they were 135-3, needing 35 runs. The time-out was taken and the momentum shifted towards the Rangpur side - thanks to the 2-run over from captain Mortaza. Rubel and Thisara Perera held their nerve in the death and executed the yorkers superbly.
