JAMAICA'S DUO - FAST AND FURIOUS
Well they havent been impressive so far... Leveridge was dropped for the most recent game.
I keep hoping that they will be nurtured well. I sincerely believe they can be with time be some hot and fruitful pace bowlers.

Bro. Tear away pace is not as dangerous as it used to be. The game has changed.
Even India, a country that never produced express bowlers, are now doing so.
Along with pace, they need to develop guile. Employ strategies. Out-think batsmen. Hopefully the get the proper care and handling.
Fast and furious....I think not

95 MPH
Ive said before that Leveridge is a very late starter to cricket and will need to improve a lot and quickly if hes going to go anywhere. Thomas is only 20 and has time on his side. He looked very quick in the T20 stuff but not so quick in the recent 4 day games. Thats not so unusual ..all pace bowlers have quicker and slower days due to a variety of reasons. Quick or not he will obviously have to learn line, length and movement are at least as important as pace.

Yeah I agree .... i was underwhelmed as well.... Im not going to get too interested or excited unless /until there is a lot of improvement which I really hope happens.... I havent seen any young bowlers this season to get tongues wagging .. one or to look to have some promise for the future but nothing to really make me sit up and take notice....its a shame.

Who is faster in current Windies setup?

Thomas is the maiden of my mum. 'Thomas' people from Jamaica are big, broad and of maroon stature... may he be a warrior and come through.

Cottrell is not going to go anywhere with that action. Taylor has no head. They have some experience and would do better in the short run. But JA and Windies would be better off by developing these guys: develop the skills they may not have - off-cutters, leg-cutters, yorkers, bouncers, and swinging the ball. Good all-round skills is important even if one in particular is your strength and go-to delivery. Will they get any help from the coaches or Ambrose, Walsh, Roberts, Holding, gray, Benjamin, Collymore, etc., etc. in the interest if Windies?
I have an idea: I think that each past successful Windies player should mentor a young Windies player who has the potential to be a top player and that should be their 'give-back' effort to Windies. Just pick one that they think they could help and who is willing to look up to them and go from there. What could Windies become?
