Someone needs to speak to Leveridge... SMH. Fast and foolish I say.
In reply to yardman83
Looking at Levridge bowl and he seems to be real quick... Just needs to get his radar right
In reply to Pacy
I am not impressed. Wasting the new ball at the moment.
In reply to yardman83
Quicks at times need some time to settle... It is 13th over and already Campbell has bowled 3 overs and Damion Jacobs bowling from the other end.
Using quicks this way does not develop them or give them any confidence. I hate this approach across the caribbean
Any radio coverage? Don't want video.
In reply to Pacy
Leveridge has never looked very disciplined to me. His discipline needs to improve. I do not mind giving him a long spell but he is not bowling to the field that is set. Many of the deliveries are down the legside and then the batsmen are not playing most of the deliveries as well. He is not doing himself any favours. Wasting the new ball.

Imran Khan goes to Smith and Webster now goes to Campbell. 224/8.
I do like the look of Smith... apparently he started off horribly bowling all over the place but has looked much better in his second spell... hes quick of the pitch and is causing the late Trini batsmen problems.

Stumps
In reply to sgtdjones
These two batsmen seem to just go for their shots regardless of the situation. The aim would have been to ensure that we went to stumps without the loss but they seem to be blazing away regardless. SMH.
Jamaica Scorpions vs Trinidad & Tobago Red Force at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica
Both Scorpions and Red Force enter the contest with wind behind their sails, following convincing wins in the previous round of matches. Fortune however, has favoured Red Force and left Scorpions with a bitter-sweet taste in their mouths.
Scorpions regular captain and champion left-arm spinner Nikita Miller has been the catalyst for their surge in the last two rounds of matches. He however, departs this week for New Zealand, where he will be part of the Windies One-day International squad.
In just two matches since he returned to the squad following a medical procedure during the off-season, Miller has taken an extraordinary 23 wickets at 8.73 runs apiece. His uncomplicated lower-order batting also came to the rescue in the two matches to give the Scorpions valuable leads over their opponents.
Along with his leadership, it will be a big price to pay for progress so this along with the Red Forces success at this venue in the PCL era, if not last year, will be reason to give the Scorpions pause, as they consider the prospects for this match.
Not that Red Force has been unscathed, as opener Kyle Hope and fellow batsman Jason Mohammed will be on the same flight to New Zealand with Miller, and this too, may upset the balance of power in terms of their batting.

Campbell out to imran Khan for 156.
Jamaica 282-4
In reply to mikesiva
This fellow Campbell is a wastrel. He had a double ton for the taking with T&T tired after tea. It would have gone some way to make up for the inconsistencies he has been showing over the past 2 seasons.
The great Mas George used to swim from Harbour St beach to Palisados and back (a short 3 miles) to keep fit. Fellows like Campbell should be forced to do it as punishment.
Campbell should make the WI team,as long as he continue to get runs and get few wickets.
In reply to Headley
Jamaica 305-4
Palmer 58 not out
Allen four not out
Jamaica now have three batsmen averaging over 40 this PCL.
Fabian Allen
John Campbell
Paul Palmer
In reply to granite
Campbell need to average 40 before they even consider it.
Career average not tournament average
In reply to mikesiva
Allen has 2 centuries (both not-out) this season and has not hit a six yet. Campbell should take note.
In reply to Headley
318/4. Rain has stopped play with Palmer 68 and Allen 7.
T&T bowling attack, if it can be called that, continues to be shown up.
Its either the face a very weak batting team and in favorable conditions they run thru them quickly but if the batting team is decent or better then is pure licks.
Rain being forecast for weekend
Allen looking to blast another ton and Trini pyam pyam gives him the perfect opportunity

The rain looks likely to rob The Scorpions of victory.
Kingston rainy and dark
No more cricket
In reply to cricketmad
Yes it looks dicey. Ja needs one hour to get the 4 wickets.
In reply to Headley
That's a wicket every 15 minutes, cricket is a funny game as they say, when forcing a victory teams make mistakes,I think it would take about 2 hours,Ramdin and Khan can bat.
Jam could still win but rain is on TT side right now.Jamaica batted too dyam long, that is the problem now.
