Why is Shai Hope in the squad? It does not help Windies or him? Maybe he is there to save airfare? In fact the ODI and T20 squads seem to be selected with costs in mind, with favor going to players who are already in one of the limited over teams.

Yep, his T20 stats are really screaming out for selection smh... Not to mention he hasn't played a T20 in over two years..

These ODI and T20I squads look so depleted, with only Gayle and Lewis providing some class in the batting department. The likes of Simmons, Samuels, Bravo, Russell, Narine, from winning squads of the past, would be sorely missed when we get thrashed in this series.
