Former West Indies all-rounder Vasbert Drakes has been appointed as the new coach of the UAE cricket team.
"Drakes will replace Kabir Khan as the next coach. Khan wanted to attend a Level-4 coaching course in Scotland and had stepped down," said Mazhar Khan, the administrator of the Emirates Cricket Board. Full Story

WE live in a world where people are free to get employment wherever they can find it .
I therefore have no problem with Vasbert Drakes getting employed by the UAE .
I have no doubt that he would be well compensated financially , and that would be good for him & his family . I therefore congratulate Vasbert Drakes on his appointment .
