Please note that not everyone can bat in the middle order, so those selected primarily as bowlers will be batting down the order. As always, Captainaraine will try to make sure everyone get some batting or bowling, and given the West Indianishness of our batting most likely everyone will bat.
For those who didn't make it, we are looking at two games on the weekend of Sept 20 in Hartford. Anyone who signed up for Toronto and wasn't selected... yes, even those who cuss me and carry on bad without bothering to read their emails or PMs.... will get a spot for that weekend if they want it.

i have a suggestion for myabe next yr match
since the number of people on this MB is increasing, maybe you should take some guys and pick a first 11 and then then let the others play against that team.
that way everyone will get a game. the only bad thing with that is, all them lazt man on the team would have to actually field all the overs, them cant pull up after 2 overs and call for a sub

That would be ideal, the problem is getting a ground. I live 2 hours from Toronto, and have few contacts among the clubs there anymore. Not many clubs are willing to give out a ground when they aren't even playing.
I had hoped to have two games on this curry goat weekend, but with the last minute change of date, everything was thrown out of whack.
Nuff Toronto peeps post here, if some of them can step up then maybe this could be a reality next year.
