Powell vs Edwards
In reply to Rovin22
they are both shythounds. Far superior my rass. Edwards slightly better. Both are appalling.. in test cricket.
They both are better at the short stuff. Maybe we need to find two new test bowlers to replace them.

Dawes spring to mind the other one is Rampaul but apparently he got ah "roti belly".Seriously though, when we cyah find pacers in Jam and Bim...what can I say?
There is a St. Lucian patios proverb. I don't know if there an English version but I say it anyway, translated into English.
About Powell and Fidel:
" One is not worth the other"
-you cannot tell who is better between them.

Yuh might be able to tell who is worse.

Powell is more accurate, Fidel is more of a wicket-taker
In reply to karela de both of dem is di same difference, fuh good or bad.
A fit Edwards is better than Powell but reality though, both aint much better! Edwards have shown improvement lately and has been much better than Powell.
I see Powell bowl, and I'm not surprised at his nearly 50 bowling average. He has all the goods except a brain.
But Fidel looks like a handful. I've seen good Aussie batsmen looks extremely uncomfortable against him, and while I've also seen him bowl a lot of crap down the leg side, I'm still surprised he doesn't take more wickets.
I have always wondered if a solid partner at the other end wouldn't make the difference for Fidel.

What a joke.
Both are poor test bowlers though edwards can have a few moments while Powell can be a decent ODI bowler(did very well in the WC).
Taylor is the ebst of the lot and not even he i would say is 'far superior'.
