I hope there is no West Indian supporter who will be pleased to see Samuels being banned for 2 years...

truebaj 2008-05-12 07:15:23

In reply to crapaud

Three West Indians found him guilty, I am a WI supporter and also a samuels supporter.

My take on it is that samuels being found guilty should be banned, two years is a bit much but if you do the crime then you have to do the time.

I doubt if there is any West Indian supporters who will be pleased to see him ban for being liable...

Apparently you haven't read the Code of Conduct.

yes I have madam and I have also read RJR's news and the transcripts and Marlon's response
I have even read some other articles so tell me which code did he fully violate..
And have you read any of the codes in full and please tell us which of these code will you sentence him under.. For God sake cant you see why they have had such difficulties in dealing with the case.. The guy gave out info as per the first parts of many of the codes but the other parts he can and does deny.. Dont you think there is Justice in this world or do you think in terms of Just us
Supporters want to see players banned if they are guilty of violating a code of conduct and banned if they commit a criminal act.. you need to grasp the implication of the term liable to a charge of bribery

At least we can say cricket is a sport... but your pre-emptive strike is on a person..but then again moral values may not spread to wishing for the worst.. we will wait and hope you do enjoy your I told you so
Sorry to disappoint you but thats not what I will remember him for..some of us in this world will always remember people for the good they do...
I'm sure somewhere deep inside of you there's a good person trying to get out.. but I am prepared to be wrong (and please dont take it as a personal diss but I just cant see any positives in what you write)

Well he's not in the camp according to RJR. WICB would speak with ICC and people aren't in offices on the weekend.

Samuels has been dropped from the squad.

There is a certain Pagan watch him bat and you must remain grounded, but is he an angel? A tour of England he pulled out needing a break from the sport, the British sponsors could not have that paid one player more than the entire team, he suspended the break.

Many players were close to the edge, but got a little push from Pagan, Rose, Patterson, Hooper….. is he an angel I beg to differ, but can the Bad Minded Prof. admit this?

In reply to crapaud Principle is principle, are you going to encourage a youngster to break the rules or follow them. Why be so subjective in your approach, why not encounrage youths to refrain from those of Sam.If West Indians are happy that the panel took the right decision then I applauded them in having such sentiments, due process occurred. Putting West Indians in a corner will not cut it, the issue is SAM and his misconduct, he has to pay a price, the public must used this case to illustrate to youngsters what consequences they face if they choose to go down that path. Long live the West Indian peoples.
