THE West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) put up its Draft Strategic Plan on its website, inviting comments.
Unfortunately, the link to it was so innocuous that it was unlikely many people noticed it. The possibilities of it being widely appraised seem slim.

There is a very simple reason why this has been hidden away on the WICB website. It is only cosmetics. The WICBandits want no real change. They are quite happy with the way things are. It suits their corrupt intentions. And they know that we West Indians are just talkers and complainers. We will do nothing else and the statue quo will remain.

I do not think teh writer is against making it available at all.
Please reread the above and then maybe you can understand the author's intent. Blind attacks on teh messenger should be avoided.

I agree with Chrissy's position. As an interested cricket fan, I easily found it by going to the WICB's website. Once you are interested, you can find it and read it. If someone does not know it's there, it's really because they're not that interested. By no means am I a cricket fanatic, a professional cricketer or a cricket administrator - I do not tour the Caribbean to go matches, or pay US$100 to see World Cup game. However, with some interest in WI cricket, I was able to find and review the document.
And on that point, I agree with Vaneisa that the document is pretty good, prety clear, frank and enlightening. It certainly is a step in the right direction, and the fact that they've put it out for consultation is equally the right step, for any interested party to compile and submit a response containing criticisms and recommendations.
And I think this article from Vaneisa will also help build the awareness of the document, as this website is a pretty well-reviewed website for cricket lovers.
Good stuff WICB, Vaneisa.
