Should we gamble with Kraigg???
In reply to xyberkidd Gayle get man fired for "experimenting"..the boss dont want it so we not having it!!!
Make Kraigg play for FC cricket and go play some games in England to get use to that kind of condition
In reply to xyberkidd
Give these kids a chance to grow up.
WICB should send these young players to australian academy or any other good academy.
bowlers should be sent to MRF academy in India run by dennis lillie.
In reply to xyberkidd
stupse
In reply to xyberkidd
Well skunt what do you think????? Has he played a FC match yet?
In reply to xyberkidd no...that will mess the young man up.....let let debut when he's about 22...
Just talked to someone about Kraigg. Said he rated him in the top 5 bat in the u19 tournament - said the kid has incredible patience for a youngster and his problem is he favours the leg side a real big deal. Says the kid does play turning balls outside off on the leg side and even defend half volleys.
My thing now, if the kid is real strong on the legs, he needs to work on playing on the off cause someone like Murali will pack that leg side and bowl to you. half volleys are gifts and should be put away.
And also, the rules are, you have to play with a regional first class side before you can debut for the winless windies.
In reply to Tizzle_Dndee
actually let him debut when he becomes successful for Barbados.
i think someone from westindies named hack hall had trained in mrf academy? is he from windies?
In reply to jacan The bimsters are eager to get a bajan batsman in the team..apparently this kid is their best since Haynes so xyberkidd's panties getting wet because of Kraigg
In reply to xyberkidd
yes...I'm sure he can do better than what we currently have...
In reply to CricketLuva4 well i hope he does good...He and Barath, don't rush them.
In reply to Tizzle_Dndee
de youngman wants to play with his hero ...SHIV!
allyuh run de man off he own thread
In reply to Tizzle_Dndee
he will become good, after going through the FC 'System'
In reply to CricketLuva4 Mental state.
he needs to play now cause by the time he is ready to play there will be no windies team as soon as shiv retires windies cricket will end
In reply to Tizzle_Dndee
look this boy has a real good mental approach to the game, better than some in this WI current side.....
In reply to navindesignsSamething then say when Lara been going. Someone will step up.

Top five Bats? Who else were in the Top 5?
In reply to xyberkidd
throw he in deh and see what he do.
How about throwing you self in a Shark infested Pool and see what you go do. Stewpsss! Dumbest thing I heard in a while.
In reply to Samwells
Was it a bimmer that started this tread and do you really think bimmers give a rats ass who is on the windies team?
In reply to voiceofreason Didn't ask.
In reply to Samwells
It look so,in any case if Windies want to gamble there are better batsmen from Jamaica and Trinidad.
In reply to Samwells we aint that eager Bro...
Kraigg is young and still has room for learning the craft.
He is ahead...waaaay ahead for his age and I dont agree 100% with the hear say JEN heard about Kraigg re the Offside.
He is patient when most others would have gone for some shots...like full tosses and even some short deliveries...guess what...I dont mind...not yet.
If he is still playin this way 3 years from now he will still be showing more application than most Windies players in the past 5-8 years (sans Shiv).
Let Kraigg develop at his pace...
A blessing would be some overseas play in England and Asia before his 18th Birthday.

In reply to your question "should we gamble with Kraigg."
Please be reminded that the lad is under 16. It may not be legal to play for money. Unless of course you mean, go to pack, fish or hearts for free.
Cool it Breds. Let the youth focus on maths, history and chemistry even physics. We already have too many dunce cricketers.
In reply to Headley
maths, history, chemistry, and physics of what they teach in school, AND CRICKET
In reply to powen001 I was just in Bim and got to see Kraigg bat in the Park. Kid's placement is awesome. With age and his body getting stronger all of those ones and twos will no doubt become fours. I remember the Leading bowler coming back into the attack and KB just taking two fours off his first two overs so easily. He then just got back to finding gaps in the field. R. Chase, I will also look to play for Bim in the near future. He is a pretty good allrounder. Crotty is a pretty good legspinner.
Jason Holder and the Big left handed pacer from the Islands looked pretty good.
In reply to CricketLuva4
Yes yu right and Cricket.

Jason Holder and the Big left handed pacer from the Islands looked pretty good.
.......which of the Islands he come from?.....
In reply to powen001 thought xyberkidd was a bajan plus I see Khary calling for Ryan Hinds to be captain of West Indies so I thought the bajans were getting desperate to get a batter in the team
In reply to seaegg99 Man yuh bang on Bro!!!!
..why wunnuh fellas does be so quiet when we could be examining these matches live an in person...you were obviously there too I see.
Kraigg is picking gaps very easily already...those 1,s and 2,s will become 4444s in no time...I alrready see that...so I dont mind the ole talk and impatience some so called fans screaming about.
Roston is an extremely passionate youngster...with niiiiice timing off de willow...He is young..and I told his dad I would chat with him about mental toughening up...his DAd is passionate too..lol.
Creary, Barath..without sayin...young Keon..who bowled for TnT showed some good promise too...there was a lil guy who Keon called "maggie"..he bowled about 15 overs LOL...patient fellow picked up several wickets in that ODI against us.
the hard work is finding adults who know how to nurture and get the best out o this regional basketful o potential.
In reply to Samwells
You know wuh thought mek a man do?
In reply to cherri I watched Line an Length tonight girl..but I aint over the moon with the highlights covering the U 19 matches...I wanted more footage..less talk...but Barry didnt get the BIM innings at all to work with.
Corbin did a pretty good interview tho... good potential there.
In reply to powen001 did u see Creary in action?
In reply to powen001
Corbin usually give good interviews, you know Barry is no longer at CBC so the CBC cameramen may not share their footage with him (my opinion) he is just doing his programme and that is that..............BTW will you be attending the lil grudge match on Sunday and BET between Lodge and Cawmere?...that should be interesting........Kraigg gine be in his element if he plays..........
In reply to cherri I heard Barry biggin up the match...will see.
Yeah I know that Barry no longer there..moved on to CMC..will be doing Olympics.
He promised that Line & Length will continue tho...but the jack ass cart they have as a Chairman is very Anti - common-sense and pro-spite...so we shall see how long that lasts.
CBC didnt record the entire match...sad but true.
In reply to powen001
I saw Kraigg batting and he is weak on the off, however, he is just a young lad and there is enough time to correct this.
You are so so right CBC now has a royal jackass as its chairman so look out for problems.
I hope barry continues to get footage one way or the next if not you in trouble and all of us that depend on your uploads.
