Is Anyone Listening to Kenny?
Sunday, August 10th, 2003Former West Indies fast bowler Kenny Benjamin, who is now making a name for himself in the coaching circles, is adamant that young guns Jerome Taylor and Fidel Edwards should miss the upcoming Red Stripe Bowl. But, is anyone listening?
Benjamin has made his opinions crystal clear here and here and here, making some very valid points along the way.
Again, is anyone listening? On one hand, we all plead for our ex cricketers to get involved in the preparation process. Then, when they make valuable suggestions, we promptly ignore them. Cynic that I am, I’m betting that Benjamin’s pleas fall on deaf ears. And that will be a damn shame.
