Cricket Matters
This year’s Regional Under-19 Tournament will be played in Jamaica between July 20 and August 3, and will be contested under a 50 overs-a-side format. The six regional teams – Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, Leeward Islands, Trinidad & Tobago and Windward Islands – along with a side from ICC Americas will play the other once in a round-robin competition with the top two teams contesting the Final to determine the winner.

The General Public in the Region , have a
RIGHT TO KNOW , WHAT IS ON THE AGENDA regarding the Meeting to be held on the 20th of May 2015 .
The WICB may think that it is a Private
Entity ; however CARICOM cannot consider itself as being a Private Entity .
That being the case , the Public in the
Region must be informed of the Agenda to be discussed , and must also inform the
General Public the results of this Meeting .
FAILURE OF THE SUB COMMITTEE TO DO THIS
WOULD BE A DERELICTION OF DUTY .
ESPECIALLY SINCE IT IS LIKELY THAT THE
WORST INTERNATIONAL CRICKET BOARD IN THE
HISTORY OF CRICKET , IS LIKELY TO ASK FOR
PUBLIC MONEY .
ANY SUCH REQUEST MUST BE SWIFTLY REJECTED
WE CANNOT HAVE THE WICB BEING RECKLESS IN
ITS BEHAVIOUR IN THE RECENT TOUR TO INDIA .
THE PEOPLE IN THE WICB MADE THEIR BED SO
LET THEM LIE IN IT .
It would be irresponsible of CARICOM if it allows the WICB gross disrespect , of
refusing to implement the changes recommended by the Patterson Report is not
on the Agenda .
It is very interesting , that now the WICB
is in dire financial Straits , they are
willingly to have meetings with CARICOM
, despite publicly snubbing CARICOM .
THE MORAL OF THIS STORY IS THIS ; NEVER
BE ARROGANT TO ANYONE , BECAUSE A DAY WILL
COME WHEN YOU WILL HAVE TO HUMBLE YOURSELF
TO THOSE WHO YOU WERE ARROGANT TO
AT SOME POINT .
CARICOM MUST REMEMBER THAT THE WICB HAS
BECOME , ACCOUNTABLE TO NO ONE ; NOT EVEN
THE ICC . THIS IS WHY IT IS PERPETUALLY
RECKLESS IN ITS BEHAVIOUR .

Did you deduce this as a resuLt of my stating the fact that the Worst International Cricket Board in the Region ;aka the WICB WAS RECKLESS ????
Truth is that only those who have no freaking Accountability , can afford to be
RECKLESS & IRRESPONSIBLE . Those in the
WICB apparently take a fiendish delight in proving this fact , while their many
Friends in the Media wildly applaud thier
behaviour .

It aint whether I have been saying the same things continuously , it is about whether
what I state is factual or just a figment of my imagination .
So far you and others criticize my writing style ; you say that I write the same things
all the time , that aint true .
However you and others cannot dispute that
what I write is fiction . The sad thing is that wittingly or unwittingly , those of your ilk are empowering the WICB in its gross maladministration of Cricket in the Region .
I find it very fascinating that you & others refer to the Truth as Venom ; because I believe that the Truth can
be Venomous to those who fear the Truth .

Only 50 overs a side? What happened to the Northern Telecom days, when Lara, Dhanraj and Adams used to play three-day cricket?
no wonder we can't produce Test cricketers any more....
