KINGSTON, Jamaica (CMC) — President of the Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) Wilford 'Billy' Heaven is expected to appear before an ethics committee to answer charges of a code violation, according to President of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Dave Cameron.

Despite media reports last month stating that Heaven was to be summoned to answer charges of leaking a confidential document pertaining to West Indies' abandoned tour of India last year, the JCA boss denied any such matter is pending.

"I have been asked that question before. When it was first asked I had not been given all the pivotal information. Just to say yes, there is a matter against Mr Heaven and the committee will meet shortly on the way forward," Cameron said in a Television Jamaica interview.

The release of the information without the consent of the WICB is a breach of clause six of the WICB's Code of Ethics for the board of directors.

What of these damn journalist and poor writing? Notice above how the writer casually provide one sentence about the "absence of the senior team from the 2017 Champions trophy," but no report on what Cameron said or how the audience reacted etc. Imagine this is such a big deal and the editor nor journalist didn't see it fit to provide a proper report.

On such crucial matters which obviously will have a deleterious effect on West Indies cricket we must RAGE...RAGE AGAINST CAMERON and his band of merrymen. We must let our voices be heard LOUDLY.

You are absolutely Right , Ethics & the WICB are akin to being a Molotov Cocktail ,
that has seriously damaged Cricket in the Region .

While Bangladesh & Zimbabwe have progressed
WE have regressed . You see all this talk about Commercial Interest etc , it aint to improve Cricket in the Region , it is to ensure that the Structure remains the same
and that their power is never diluted .

That is all they care about , Self Preservation . The sad thing is that the
International Cricket Cabal , aka the ICC
APPROVES OF THEIR BEHAVIOUR .

Imagine , the ICC has the USACA under very
strict supervision , but says nary a word
regarding the CLOWNS in the governance of Cricket in the Region .

I have no doubt that they relish the demise of Cricket in this Region , it may mean more money to to be divided among the
top Teams .

Cameron or whoever is president works for the directors, not the other way around how the hell can Cameron take a director to ethics hearing?
