I grew up loving cricket. I thought cricket was the greatest game in the world. I would walk any distance and pay any price to see a game of cricket, even a curry goat match. But these guys who call themselves West Indian cricketers have done the worst evil to me. They have made me hate the game of cricket. Because of them, I don't even care about seeing a cricket game, even if it's being given away. These days there is a television channel dedicated solely to broadcasting cricket from all over the world, 24/7. And I just can't believe that I don't even bother to turn to that channel, especially if these so-called West Indies cricketers are playing. I wish the West Indies could just disband the team and let these small-brained, little-talent, big-ego guys go find work that they can do. Yes, disband the West Indies team!

So you apparently absolve the WICBC from all responsibilities regarding
the state of Cricket in the Region ???

I cannot totally subscribe to what
you have stated ; because there are , in my opinion , 3 main components ,
that are involved ultimately in the success of any Team in my opinion .


These 3 main components , in my opinion have to share the same vision ; they must relate to each other in an amicable respectful manner ; with the ultimate goal being bringing Honour & Glory to the Region by being
cohesive .

In Cricket , of the three , the Players are the component that ultimately most of the outcome of Matches depends on their Success ; or
Failure .

However the Success of the Team can only be achieved if those in the governance are willing to do everything possible that their Players are fully Competitive in the
International Cricket Arena .

Then the third component is made up of the Coaches , whose jobs are to make & teach the Players the intricacies of the game ; & avoid
Pitfalls , & correct flaws & mistakes .
I cite these because singling out just one of the 3 components , for criticism is totally Absurd .

I understand your point. But it does not need a board member, a manager, a coach or even a fellow player to tell a grown person who knows the states of the game, a person who is being paid to do his job, that he needs to act responsibly. These cricketers are not little children. They are not school boys. They are "professionals", being paid good money to do what cricketers do. And no matter what is going on in the offices of the WICBC, your pride, your talent, your intelligence should shine through your performances. Grown men do not need to be spoon fed. And if they don't have the wherewithal to perform at an acceptable standard,(and we're not even asking them to be Sobers, Richards, Greenidge, Haynes, Rowe, Lara) they should stop accepting money under false pretense and get into another line of work.
Just answer this question: What do you think would happen to you if you approached your job the way these guys approach theirs?
