A three-man team from the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) arrived in Guyana on Monday to conduct a two-day ‘Genetic Syllabus’ programme for Guyana’s three selected players for next year’s Women’s tri Nation series in South Africa.
The series involves host nation South Africa, Australia and West Indies and the Guyanese in the Squad are batter Shemaine Campbelle, who despite her 23 years, can now be considered a veteran at the International level, with a highest score of 105 from her 61 ODI’s since making her debut in 2009 against South Africa. She has also played 69 T20s for the West Indies Women.
The other two Guyanese in the Squad are fast bowlers 30 year-old Tremayne Smartt who has played 51 ODI’s and 53 T20s and Sabrina Munroe, who is also 30.
