HEADLINE: Andre Russell defends status as sought-after T20 player

SYDNEY, Australia (CMC) — West Indies allrounder Andre Russell has defended his status as a T20 gun for hire, saying he should not be denied the right to secure financial gains from the game.
Russell, a member of the Sydney Thunder in the Australian Big Bash, is considered one of the more active players on the international Twenty20 circuit.
The Big Bash will be his fifth domestic Twenty20 competition after tournaments in India, Bangladesh the Caribbean and elsewhere.

Credit to Russell to come out and at least admit that his interest lies only with t20. Which is more than some would care to admit despite the evidence to suggest otherwise.

Russell has no future with the WICB. He is right to put himself and family first. Isn't that what the Bandits are doing?? Tell them to fact off Russell. Nobody wants to work for a horrible company and that is what the WICB is.
