LONDON, England (CMC) — Axed West Indies Head Coach Phil Simmons could be contemplating legal action against the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) over his abrupt firing last week.
Reports in international media said the 53-year-old Trinidadian was expected to meet with his legal team in coming days to discuss the matter and would then decide on a course of action.
“Phil is currently in the UK and is supposed to meet his lawyers within the next 72 hours,” a confidante of Simmons, who requested anonymity, was quoted as saying.
“His next course of action would be influenced by the advice they give.”

Seriously want does he have to gain from this? Don't they have to pay him until the end of his contract as alluded to by those in the know here?
He should jus chill and collect the cheque....

The WICB seems to spend a lot of time in the law courts....

FYI that aint really the problem , the fact is that they are squandering their meager financial Surpluses on
paying former Employees & Lawyers , on account of their colossal Stupidity .
I agree with Ken Gordon , regarding a forensic Audit , included in the Audit
must be the amount of money that the
Worst International Cricket Board in
the Commonwealth , aka the WICBC ,has
spent paying Employees that have been
fired .

May be they have some nexus with law firms and ensure they are paid a good amount every year
