sometimes the reserved plays just as good as the full strength teams, I remember the tits full-time team getting whipped by BIM and others.

My view is the best team must always play...people want to see stars....lil local stars or big international stars.....without stars there would be no successful sport

Agreed ......'the best team must always play'. However, this never happens in any territorial region and by further extension the West Indies; sadly, it has become the culture of our cricket courtesy the WICB.

Almost 20 years ago, the WICB had selection rules.
We did not like it then, because fans looked at the earnings were making away from playing regional tournaments.
We cannot have it both ways
It is nonsense to select a paper team, especially with professional leagues developing.

These guys playing four day cricket would be not be interested, not mentally 'there' and they would easily succumb to less talented but mentally tougher teams in the regionals
