Each team has a mixture of old and upcoming talent. Since you pointed out the 'dinos' I will lobby for the young and upcoming talents which you choose to ignore.

Pride: Brooks, Miguel Cummins, Dominic Drakes, Justin Greaves, Keon Harding, Mosley. Don't know a lot about Boucher and Walcott they may surprise.

Scorpions: Jermaine Blackwood, Brandon King, Rovman Powell, Fabian Allen, Andre McCarthy, Paul Palmer, Christopher Lamont, Oshane Thomas, Gordon Bryan.

Jaguars:: Chandrapaul Hemraj, Raymon Reifer, Sherfane Rutherford, Romario Shepherd, Gudakesh Motie. Don't know much about Ramaal Lewis, Ricardo Adams and
Pestano.

Volcanoes: Kavem Hodge, Larry Edward, Obed McCoy, Alick Athanaze, Ryan John.

Marooners: Unknown.

Hurricanes: Rahkeem Cornwall , Orlando Peters , Keacy Carty, Montcin Hodge, Jeremiah Louis, Damion Jacobs.

Windies B: Kimani Melius, Kirstan Kallicharan, Odean Smith, Ronsford Beaton, Chemar Holder, Brian Charles. And some unknowns.

I am a fan of Springer, he will be as good as Hetmyer, I have a soft spot for Boucher, his grandmother is from my village.
Let hope the pride follow the WI B, by allowing Graves and Springer to bat up the order, they both did the job in Toronto.

Slipfeeler Sep 29, 2018, 6:36:52 PM

Marlon Samuels on West Indies B team?

sunfish Sep 29, 2018, 7:05:32 PM

In reply to Slipfeeler

Because they need an experienced head to guide them.

And I was wondering also if he might not of been picked up by another squad either.
Think the selectors wants him to be part of their team still

sunfish Sep 29, 2018, 7:40:08 PM

Anyway, despite the politics and speculation I'm looking forward to some good 50 over cricket because this season brings the experienced players and the young emerging players in the same tournament.

Let's go Volcanoes! I'm watching Obed and Kavem because I expect they will rise like cream on a good latte. Full disclosure, I've never had a latte in my life but it seems like a good simile.

Let the games begin!

Agreed,
We been asking for this for some years now and it's finally happening
Hoping we can see a new way going forward when it comes to WI cricket and continued growth as well.

Hola...Sunfish i did not leave out the young uns...I am promoting the war to get rid of all DINOS...I think you and I are on same page...this stupidness of country winning a tin cup trophy is garbage...countries will get respectability and acknowledgemet when their citizens make the big team...there is a lot of youngsters pushing and pushing hard when the admins of those countries stop behaving like ostriches and look at the big and bright picture ahead...then and only then WI will have world beaters.
WE do not need the DINOS..I keep reading the Dinos will teach and aid the young ones...pleaseeeeee ..which DINO can help???

But wait, where is Primus the missing man no one picked him up!?

Why did Kenroy Williams opt for the Jamaican Scorpions? He is left out of their line up and he would have been a certainty in the Barbados starting 11 to hold the lower order batting together with Greaves!

analyst-kid Sep 30, 2018, 4:04:57 PM

Williams is a spin option who is a dependable batsman...not required in the Scorpions line up (with Miller and Allen) but needed in the Pride squad.

Kenroy was drafted by the Scorpions, which is a good thing.

It's good that these kids are getting a look in via the development team. They should rightfully be in the T&T squad but a half dozen free wheelers who turn up for a knock at this level when it's convenient just walk in and occupy the spots...
