10 questions for Dave Cameron

Yamfoot 2019-03-10 12:38:15

Pretend like he is reading (or that you’re in a townhall meeting)......ask a question.

DO NOT ANSWER THE QUESTIONS. ONLY ASK.

INTELLIGENT QUESTIONS ONLY!

sgtdjones 2019-03-10 15:08:12

Ok Dave

You promised transparency, it is not prevalent? Why?

Can I get your compensation package for the
last two fiscal years ie Monthly salary, monthly expenses, Travel expenses, entertainment, Vehicle allowance, etc?

Can I get the financial remuneration given to each Board member ie Travel expenses, Board fees for being on various committees, for the last two years ie Travel expenses, entertainment, Vehicle allowances etc?

Who called the India Tour off, was it Pybus, Cameron
after having Board approval?
Why did you not communicate with BCCI, it shows that BCCI was in touch with CWI players and the President who was in Dubai chose not to intervene?

You lack communication skills by your posting comments about players, yet seem to have no knowledge of players classification? It does not prohibit you posting comments about Bravos, Gayle, etc. For an administrator, it shows a lack of proper management skills and poor judgment.

Pybus resume shows where ever he has managed or been part of management, catastrophe reigns. Why was he hired after leaving CWI? Why did he leave was it based on failure?

How did this occur all that was heard was a love story from your VP about this individual on Mason and Guest and was given the job.
Did the Committee that decides the hiring of Coaches consulted?
When posed with questions your VP was in a stammering mood, which raises red flags?

There must be pertinent facts to show why Pybus was given the position to be the interim coach.
Did management have a list of Coaches that were available and consulted the Board with the Pro and Cons, before such a decision was made? If it didn't have why not?

Did the Cricket committee make such a presentation to the Board about Pybus?

I understand that CWI and WIPA have a list of 120 players that receive monthly remuneration? What is the monthly payment?
Who keeps the monthly tab to ensure such funds are spent in accordance with stipulations?

Who are these players?

Wouldnt it be wise to spend such money by keeping the U 19 team intact so they can improve on weaknesses by a regimented system under the supervision at an HPC?

We are receiving 128 million US per year from the ICC,
I have notice staff increases at head office. I understand we have a Marketing team, can you explain what this Department has accomplished during your tenure to date?
Does invisibility seem to be their greatest asset?

Can I see an accounting process how this 128 Million
US is spent?

Can you explain how CWI schedule of Touring teams formulated?
Is such payback for votes to become President?
I am astonished that the larger Islands are neglected, are such the new strategy of the CWI Board or its President?

Yamfoot,

Why didn't He ascertain what Level
Contract Darren Bravo had , before
Publicly making an Ass of himself ?????

Whatever Happened to the Wehby Report
that was Commissioned some Years
Ago ?????

Why did he refuse to go to India to
salvage Our Team Tour to India that
WAS IN PROGRESS ?????

Did HE Think about the Financial Damage that would occur by cancelling the Tour ?????

Why is it that the Worst International Cricket Board in the
Commonwealth, aka the WICBC , bluntly refuse to change its 90+ years old Structure ,Despite Commissioning
Several Reports ?????

Let us check the diaphanous facts, look at the schedule

How many games played in Jamaica/Trinidad/Guyana compared to Barbados and Antigua over the last 3 years?

This is an entity that receives Taxpayers funds and exemptions, it begs the question of what is personal questions?

If such is deemed top be prevalent journalists will not be invited to the next buffet, I reckon?

CWI is not a public company
but being a for profit corporation, they seek and get tax favors.

In reply to Yamfoot

" CWI IS NOT A PUBLIC COMPANY "

That is precisely what is the freaking
Problem . WE live in the age of Google .I would like You to Google :

THE LODAR COMMITTEE , also the Case
that went to the India Supreme Court ,
regarding the BCCI tardiness in implementing the recommendations of the Lodar Committee .

Let me again state the fact that the
BCCI & the WICBC are similarly structured . As far as I am aware I am the first person in this Forum who mentioned the Lodar Committee .

In this Forum I was informed that the Prime Minister of SVG in talking
with Members of the ICC , mentioned
the LODAR Committee .

In essence Cricket Boards really do
not have the Final decision regarding their Stewardship , it is
the Law Courts that are empowered to
do that .

This is precisely why the India Supreme Court REMOVED the President
of the BCCI from his position as the
President of the BCCI . BTW , the
Secretary of the BCCI was also disciplined .

CRICKET BOARDS MISTAKENLY BELIEVE

THAT THEY CAN DO ANYTHING AND GET

AWAY WITH IT ; THAT AINT REALLY

TRUE. IT IS THE COURTS THAT HAVE THE

FINAL SAY .

sgtdjones 2019-03-12 14:45:23

In reply to Yamfoot

You know little about Taxes ...don't get involved in such an area, please.

I see why POINT keep harping about journalists they are not well versed about CWI?

CWI accepts Taxpayers money and is allowed Tax exemptions for it assets its players.

Such actions cannot be deemed to be private? Taxpayers
have the right to know how its tax dollars are being spent.

powen001 2019-03-12 15:49:19

In reply to POINT

Why are you implying that the BCCI is a public company?

While the Lodha Committee like most others are chockful of very good suggestions...you tout it as tho it is infallible and it is not...but we do agree that it would be a good start...as we have repeatedly agreed that the other reports too would have had value to our cricket development.

unlike sarge..what ever his name is...I dont hold a brief for any one in governance of our cricket at the moment...

truth is I find all of them uninspiring and its awkward for me cause my simple questions make the less intelligent on here assume that I am supporting Cameron.

I await the evidence of that...

I support the cricket product being much improved so let me ask you POINT this.

HAVE ANY Items on any one of those several reports over the many years been succesfully implemented...even if ADAPTED...are we seeing any FRUIT from any of them?

and I pause

My Name or who I am is extraneous.

I see again the highlighted education being claimed against us less fortunate. Now if the individuals were uninspiring to you in the President Box, why did you venture and humble yourself to these arid boring individuals?

You came on this forum with glee about your moments in Cameron Box at The Mecca and would post highlights after the match is completed. I missed such matter if it was posted.

I understand you have a calling in Tourism for lil England, am I correct?

During conversations with Cameron did you hint about the flourishing of this game at the Mecca, owing to attendance?

Did you insinuate at any time a few more games should be apportioned to the Mecca?

I noticed a large British contingent at the Stadium,
were such highlighted to the President.

Did you accentuate such to Cameron or any Board member present during your humble visit in the President Box?

If not you missed a tremendous opportunity, a high intellect as yourself shouldn't miss such an occassion.

Do you or Point know anyone, with CWI stocks/shares?

sgtdjones 2019-03-12 17:15:55

In reply to openning

Yes, each stakeholder.

All stakeholders will be given a document highlighting such.

It is normally run in such a fashion.

100 Common shares issued to be divided by the amount of Stakeholders. A Shareholders agreement is then issued, shareholders Board approves and sends it back to CWI Board. Approval sought and logged in Minute Book of Entity.

Each Stakeholder and CWI receives Taxpayers dollars plus tax exclusions.

Such allows questions by any taxpayer to be asked?

POINT 2019-03-12 18:34:07

In reply to powen001

Look here are some indisputable facts
about the Worst International Cricket
Board in the Commonwealth , aka the WICBC .

1. The WICBC IS 90 + Freaking Years
Old . In all these years the WICBC has
bluntly refused to undergo any Structural Changes . Now this is despite the freaking fact that that It
Commissioned several Reports .

2. A few years ago the WICBC commissioned yet another Report , this One called the Wehby Report .
Since then there has been nary a Word about that Report .

In this Forum I was told that Wehby ; Cameron & Hinds belong to the same
Cricket Club in Jamaica . If that is
true ,I now fully understand why there is silence about the Phantom
Wehby Report .

Obviously You are entitled to Support who You want , Your Support
of Cameron does not in my opinion
negate my opinion not only of Cameron & the Worst International
Cricket Board in the Commonwealth .

Your Support of Cameron does not and
cannot negate the fact that the WICBC is populated with very Incompetent People .

My perspective , which I believe is
correct , is this :

WE CANNOT PUT THE CART BEFORE THE

HORSE , AND EXPECT TO BE SUCCESSFUL.

This is precisely why the First Priority regarding West Indies Cricket must be the Removal of ALL
Persons currently in the WICBC & all
the Regional Boards .

Once that has been completed , then
WE must deal with the Players . It is asinine to suggest or start first
with the Players .

Obviously if YOU & OTHERS want to make Cameron become an Emperor then
come out and say so , do not hide in the Shadows .

The Stark Freaking Fact is that like it or not Cameron is not endowed with the temperament to be the President or Czar of the WICBC

Let me cite 2 examples that illustrate my perspective , and these 2 examples cannot ever be refuted .

Our Players were Playing Cricket in
India .

THE TOUR WAS IN PROGRESS ;

INDIAN CRICKET FANS BOUGHT TICKETS

TO SEE THE MATCHES ; HOTEL ROOMS

WERE BOOKED ; VENDORS HAD BOUGHT

THEIR GOODIES TO SELL TO CRICKET

FANS IN THE VARIOUS STADIA IN

INDIA .

My perspective is this , If Cameron
was or is a Good President HE would
have gone to India to solve the Problems .

CAMERON DID NOT GO TO INDIA ,

THEREBY , IN MY OPINION DEMONSTRATED

THAT HE IS UNFIT TO BE THE EXECUTIVE

PRESIDENT OF THE WICBC .

The freaking fact that he did not go
to India obvious meant that many People in India incurred Debts of Millions of Dollars .

It seems that this freaking fact has escaped Your attention in your blind
Idolatry to Cameron , You however can seek Solace in the fact that there are others thinking like You .

The second episode that illustrates
my Perspective is the Darren Bravo
Saga .

CAMERON IN HIS CAPACITY AS THE

PRESIDENT OF THE WICBC HAD AN

OBLIGATION TO ASSURE HIMSELF THAT

HE KNEW WHAT LEVEL CONTRACT BRAVO

HAD

BEFORE MAKING A PUBLIC STATEMENT .

He did not do that , and thereby made an Ass of himself due to not
knowing what Level Contract Bravo had .

OBVIOUSLY CAMERON BELIEVED THAT WAS

A TRIFLING MATTER . HOWEVER IT WAS

NOT TO BRAVO , WHO UNFORTUNATELY

RESPONDED BY CALLING CAMERON A BIG

IDIOT .

Now what I have stated surely aint a
Figment of my Imagination . I also firmly believe that Cameron lacks the Temperament to be the President
of the WICBC .

I TAKE SOLACE IN THE FACT THAT WHAT

I HAVE STATED HERE CANNOT BE

CREDIBLY REFUTED .

I am not implying that the BCCI is a
Public Company . I however did read
that the Supreme Court of India stated
that the BCCI could not claim to be a
Private Entity because it selects Players from different parts of India to Represent India in the International Cricket Arena , in essence the Court was stating that by selecting Players from all parts of India negates the idea or thinking that the BCCI is Private
Entity .

The LYNCHPIN in my opinion was the
Freaking Fact that the India Supreme
Court:

REMOVED THE PRESIDENT OF THE BCCI

FROM BEING THE PRESIDENT OF THE

BCCI, I ALSO STATED THAT THE

SECRETARY OF THE BCCI WAS ALSO

DISCIPLINED .

I did not read or heard that the
BCCI appealed the decision of the
India Supreme Court .

On several occasions in this Forum I
also stated that the President of the BCCI brought to the Court a Letter from the President of the ICC. THE COURT IGNORED THAT LETTER .

I am well aware that the ICC relishes spreading a Stupid Propaganda , stating that Governments cannot intervene in Cricket which is pure B.S .

WHY WAS IT THAT THE ICC & THE WICBC

DID NOT APPEAR IN COURT TO SUPPORT

THE GUYANA CRICKET BOARD WHEN THE

GOVERNMENT OF GUYANA BROUGHT A CASE

AGAINST THE GCB ????????????????

jen 2019-03-12 22:12:56

Not defending CWI, but how is CWI receiving tax payers money?

Cricket income in the region is tax free, but I don't see how that is receiving tax payers money.

Just in case YOU may have forgotten
please remember this Freaking Fact :

THE 2007 CRICKET WORLD CUP COULD NOT

HAVE HAPPENED IF THE REGIONAL

GOVERNMENTS DID NOT USE TAXPAYERS

MONEY TO ENSURE THAT IT HAPPENED AND

ACCORDING TO THE WICBC ; IT WAS

SUCCESSFUL TO THE POINT WHERE THE

PEOPLE IN THE WICBC CROWED ABOUT ITS

SUCCESS .

In this very Forum I stated that the
onus was on the Regional Governments
to ensure that the WICBC in return of getting Taxpayers Money would
undergo Serious Structural Changes .

It was not the WICBC's money that renovated Stadia in the Region . I
recall the Prime Minister of SVG
stating that he spent 5 million dollars , despite the fact that SVG
did not get any matches .

The FIELD AT THE ARNOS VALE STADIUM

IS ONE OF THE FEW STADIA IN THE

REGION THAT HAS SPRINKLERS .

Quite frankly in 2007 the People in the WICBC were seriously :

THE REAL PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN .

Despite ALL the Financial Assistance
the Regional Gave the WICBC , the
ungrateful People in the WICBC , bluntly refused to show some gratitude by undergoing Serious Structural Changes .

Sadly the Supporters of the WICBC in this Forum & in the Region have perhaps deliberately forgotten this
Freaking fact .

Does Anyone in this Forum wish to challenge this Freaking Fact ?????

Quite frankly my perspective is that
the People in the WICBC are truly ungrateful Bums .

Does anyone in this Forum care to
dispute this ?????

Islands and Guyana bid for games, do the shareholder put money up for such games?. The Government and Shareholder put in a bid.
Taxpayers money come to the fore.

Other costs are associated that Governments are responsible for, would you hazard a guess who pays for such?

Give you a hint it is not CWI.

Emir 2019-03-13 08:11:15

In reply to POINT

You are correct regarding India's Supreme Court and the BCCI- The court said cricket is a "public good" and the BCCI were not owners of that good but are accountable to the public and as such must act and behave in accordance with good public governance.

Now, this set a precedent for the world: Dictatorial cricket boards cannot use the ICC (formerly known as the Imperial Cricket Council but nowadays are rules by the Big 3 with Indian sometimes acting and would love the be the new Imperial)
rule regarding "government interference" as an excuse.

Larr Pullo 2019-03-13 08:39:58

In reply to sgtdjones
it's a question of jurisdiction. In which court would any action be taken against the CWI in? It should be a class action suit brought by ALL the govts of CARICOM and the cricketing nations, and all the govts join together and sue the local cricket boards, AND the CWI to show cause why they should solely be in charge of WI cricket when they benefit from taxpayer funds and other public benefits. However, some of the same countries use that opportunity to bargain for more games in their island, or the CWI dangles some dubious benefits and any efforts are divided and quickly fail.

I am not aware of how the other stakeholders were created.

I HAVE YET TO HEAR ON RADIO OR IN

INDIA SUPREME COURT TOOK THE

EXTRAORDINARY STEP OF REMOVING THE

You major in Minutia.

Red Herring that I was invited to Camerons Box...

and yes i am calling you STOOPID for ASSuming that Cameron himself invited me to be there.

WHY I was invited is also secondary cause this is NOT about me but I found it interesting that I had an opportunity to be around the current President and to observe for myself.

Cameron is arrogant
Cameron is a sharp politician
Cameron has garnered key supports in key areas...HOW ...I couldnt tell you.
Cameron has Charisma an he doesnt apologize for it.

His methods and approach is short sighted in my opinion but I am convinced that he is very focused...which has lead to more mistakes and critical ones at that...where he seems to believe he doesnt have to answer to any one or ever operate within the confines of Democracy.

All of those things I suspected before I met him-

Now I have a better understanding as to WHY he has remained in office.
To Remove him will require a savvy person who is even more focused and without the wishy washy stuff .

Is Skerritt the man?

We will soon find out...as the grave mistake to NOT give Skerritt as hearing has BACKFIRED awfully in their faces...that is a dangerous mindset...

and I can see all of that without reducing it to if we had Jerk pork and split pea rice compliments of Sandals.

I do eat yuh know. cool

Commissioned several Reports Bamboozled the Public into believing
that the WICBC is going to change its
Structure .

WE ARE ADMONISHED NOT TO POUR NEW

WINE INTO OLD BOTTLES . BETTER YET

YOU CANNOT TEACH OLD DOGS NEW TRICKS .

The freaking Truth is that the WICBC
has absolutely no intention of changing its current Structure doing
that obviously will dilute the Power
of those currently in the WICBC & the Regional Cricket Boards .

I recently learned in this Forum that Cameron ; Hinds & Wehby who was
supposed to be the Chairman of the

same Cricket Club in Jamaica .

Obviously then the Wehby Report aint
going to be revealed . The only solution to all this Machiavellian
tactics to

BAN ALL CURRENT OFFICIALS IN ALL

CRICKET BOARDS IN THE REGION , IT

WOULD BE ASININE TO HAVE A TOTAL

RESTRUCTURING OF CRICKET IN THE

In reply to tc1

FYI the reason why I highlighted 90+
years is the freaking fact that in ALL
those Years the WICBC HAS BLUNTLY REFUSED to change its Structure .

Now I do not believe that You are an Infant , but it seems that you possibly are unable to understand the gist of what I have stated .

YOU seem unaware of the fact that changes were made in International
Cricket . For example , the ICC changed the format for International
Cricket Tours .

England decided to limit the number
of Overseas who can Play Cricket in
England .

The shortest version of the game became a standard fixture in International Cricket .

In essence there have been changes
made in International Cricket .

MEANWHILE THE WICBC BLUNTLY REFUSES

TO CHANGE ITS STRUCTURE . THIS IS

PRECISELY WHY WE ARE IN THE FREAKING

MESS WE FIND OURSELVES .

Perhaps you can enlighten me regarding why the WICBC Commissioned Several Reports , and
then refused to implement the changes Recommended by those Reports .
