Dave Cameron say....

InHindsight 2019-03-15 18:44:40

Hear this.... "We (CWI) are Incorporated we are not a private entity."

Can you believe the demagoguery of the incumbent to obfuscate the real issue

That’s not what he told regional governments when he essentially told them to fuck off

He is a wannabe dictator and those are some of the most dangerous

lol lol lol

The Corporate entity is actually Windies.

Caricom, based on legal advice views CWI as a private entity and have built their case for restructuring on this legal advice. The prevailing view in Caricom is that as a private entity and as currently structured (CWI) cannot and must not be allowed to manage the public good.

I can see where Dave Cameron is heading with this and the obvious pitfalls.

Do you have any link for the statement attributed to Dave Cameron in your lead post or point me to the programme where he made the statement?

Should or should not? Just confirming if that’s a typo or not

POINT 2019-03-15 20:23:06

I find it very interesting that ALL
the many Stooges of the WICBC in the
Media are as Silent as a Graveyard .

THEY HAVE BEEN ALLIES OF THE WORST

INTERNATIONAL CRICKET BOARD IN THE

COMMONWEALTH FOR MANY YEARS .

Aptly demonstrating to All & Sundry
that they are utterly devoid of the Testicular Fortitude to be Critical
of the WICBC .

dude semantics! in some places a private company is un incorporated, in the US private means less than a specified number of shareholders.

Thanks. Definitely a typo.

Should read:

Aside from the glaring need to restructure West Indies cricket many believe Dave Wycliffe Cameron is sacrosanct and should NOT be held accountable or criticised. And that he isn't the problem all.

If there’s anyone that truly subscribes to that statement, they are no friend of WI cricket IMO

Cameron appears to me to be narcissistic, insecure, ruthless, and power hungry.

Semantics you say. That's exactly the point. He sidestepped the real issue.

You just reminded me about an exchange that occurred during the recent forum in Barbados.

A lady stepped up to the microphone and asked, "Mr Skerritt, do you believe Dave Cameron is a dictator?"

Mr Skerritt replied, "No, I do not believe Dave Cameron is a dictator but he has dictator like tendencies."

Remember he reads this Web site daily.

Is he reading that accepting Government funds
and tax benefits makes him obligated, transparent
to answer questions?

Obsfucation and secrecy will lead to his downfall.

Like musicman said, he rebuked Caricom Prime Ministers by stating, and I am paraphrasing here, Caricom cannot interfere in a private entity.

Now as result of the Indian Supreme Court ruling that cricket as a public good should not be managed by a private entity (BCCI) and this ruling was relied upon by the Bariteau Report. The only obvious wiggle room is to say now, CWI is not a private entity.
