I know you're watching tennis and cricket, but who is that lady that ran the DNA unit either for the police or at UWI? She retired (for illness, I think) and had written a funny book on some of her cases.

One DNA testing co. says 70% of their results show 'jackets'. lol

The people who check are a sub-set rife with reason to have doubts.

In the normal population the figure is closer to 27%.

Thanks. Trying to find it... Amazon says "Currently unavailable".

I know that it wasn't a per capita figure, Headley. That's why I re-worded the title in my link above. Seems like 27% isn't that bad; I expected it to be worse. I wonder how that stacks up against other developing countries.

Mek we blame people like Joe Grine, eh? LOL.

True ting dat! Some years ago I heard a feature on NPR in which one magnet school get into DNA and genetics. Well, their ready sample population was the student body itself. Hear what then... After a while the school's own legal counsel told them to discontinue the testing. Enough of them were coming back negative on paternity tests that the school became afraid of potential law suits!  lol
