Relive Bumrah's Pelter of a 5fer
Bumrah has a very flexible elbow. Looks like it's made of silly putty.
In reply to Larr Pullo
clear pelting
In reply to Larr Pullo
It springs back into place with the delivery.
Those peeps who say his action is pure have been looking at his left hand!
//
After watching a javelin thrower...I'm now convinced that he's pelting. Full stop.
that was some good use of the elbow from Bumrush. no wonder it is strapped. i would be surprised if his elbow is not hyperextended

Watch the look on the batsmen faces

Pelter
Ramrod straight!
In reply to granite
Not in the delivery . . . .
In reply to Ewart
Yes indeed.the left hand got me initially
For all the experts here who says that Bumrah pelts, please note the following:
He was never called for pelting
None of the commentators , at least what I have heard, ever said that he pelts.
Only WI know-alls are saying that he is pelting.
Therefore it must be that all the experts are wrong, and the brilliant minds here are spot on with their call.
Yeah, allyuh talk nah!
In reply to runout
Neither was Griffith
In reply to Barry
Different eras my fren. This is the age of technology and television cameras.
Griffiths time was the age of the dinosaur.
the pelter unleashed
Does he change is action to bowl the outswnger? Look at 0.53 in the video.
hmmm so he has perfected it now eh...
interesting?
he bowls it from the back of the hand?
hmmm......

makes sense?
In reply to runout
He knew your loved ones?
In reply to Barry
What are you talking about????
In reply to runout
They were back with the dinosaurs, no?
In reply to Real-cricket Just showed my two bro-inlaws, who are leaving for work - boodoomrah is pelting!
In reply to BeatDball
He seriously pelted dem outswingers!!
In reply to Barry
Oh yes. And I hope your were too!
In reply to Real-cricket As I have said...when in Jamaica, Bishop, Ganga or some local sports journalist should query First class cricket umpires on Bumrah's action! That's all.
In reply to runout
listen i have defended Bumrush before. but seeing that video it is clear to see flexion in his elbow when bowling the leg cutter
In reply to sudden
He flexes both his elbow and wrist, so it's hard to pick what the ball will do. I'm sure if he was playing for the WI, Pak, or even SA they would have already pulled him in to examine his action.
In reply to Larr Pullo
You are trying hard to not say it,you skunt..
In reply to BeatDball
Bumrah gave us all the evidence in that last match
In reply to Real-cricket
Care to post the video and explain the mechanics of this pelting since only a few of you guys are gifted to detect the pelting?
Thanks,
In reply to runout
you saw no flexion in his pelting elbow? really? you maybe able to argue degree but not that there wasnt any?
In reply to sudden
Oh scrap bro. Show the video nah man. And explain this flexion business.
In reply to runout
isnt it the first post in this thread?
In reply to sudden
Bro. With all honesty, I am flabbergasted at the evidence you provided. The WI should lodge a formal complaint. The umpires who presided over this should be fined. The match referee barred from international cricket. And a class act ion lawsuit should be lodged against ICC in collaboration with BCCI for promoting cheating .
Cheers!
4- Number of five-wicket hauls for Jasprit Bumrah in Tests. All have come in four different tours so far - South Africa, England, Australia, and now the West Indies. He is the first India bowler, and in fact the first from Asia, to take a five-wicket haul in each of those four countries. He has remarkably achieved the feat in just his first set of tours.
No Akram,Imran,Waqar..
In reply to runout Thank you sah...someone with balls!
He unleashed the outswinger here in the Caribbean.I ask again, what change is there in his action to bowl such a ball? Khagapul, runs and company please explain.
In all those countries where he took those wickets he hardly bowled the outswinger. Now he has perfected it with the same action?
7 out of 10 balls were outswingers on average
Both Ambrose and Roberts have certified him.

In reply to Real-cricket
Seam position? They even showed that. With same action he was able to do both. Besides he was playing with Kookaburra mostly. With Duke you are likely to get more swing.
If that is pelting pretty much every fast bowler ever played should be reported for pelting lol.
In reply to jnaveen
Bro,you have time..
In reply to jnaveen
From your article bro
Andy needs time to study it
In reply to jnaveen
Seam? Who talked about seam?
So anyone who you guys cant play is a pelter.. dumb skunts.
In reply to Real-cricket
Bro, Seems like you possess more expertise than Andy in the element of fast bowling. He needs more time to understand the mechanics of Bumrah's action, but you are a quick study and have reviewed and concluded that Bumrah is pelting. Perhaps you are privy to more information than Andy Roberts.
Say it ain't so!
Yeah, allyuh talk nah!
In reply to Real-cricket
HE didn't indicate he was chucking. He implied "studying his action to find a similar one in West Indies". I am a big fan of WI fast bowling culture. I seriously root for them to come back with 80s style fast bowling attack. Apart from Roach others have to learn a lot about working the batsman out. Ishant has been around for more than a decade. But he is still not a thinking bowler like Bumrah. Even Zaheer needed a county stint to become a thinking bowler. That is one of the reason why many talented fast bowlers don't reach the heights they set out to achieve. This is the quality of Bumrah that impressed Andy Roberts. If WI find one exactly like Bumrah i will root for them. You had a decent bowler in Archer. For whatever reason he left you guys.
In reply to jnaveen
Don't change the topic bro. That article does not vindicate Bumrah. I maintain that his outswinger must be looked at and it could never be with the same action. Look at the video bro
In reply to runout
We know Pelters,
In reply to Real-cricket
There was no complaint in the first place before we talk about vindication. There is absolutely no kink in his action. He has unusual action. Nobody would want to bowl like him. Even if you try it is very difficult to master. John Wright after identifying him told not to change his unusual action. India had one freak fast bowler kamran in the first IPL edition. He was immediately called for chucking and dropped forever. You can't get away easily with suspect action this long without every anyone remotely suggesting he was chucking.
In reply to natty_forever
Pity we don't know bowlers??? We would have won the series....
In reply to runout
We haven't lost it as yet.
In reply to natty_forever
But we can't win it!!!
In reply to runout
However, 1-1 is a West Indies win.
In reply to natty_forever
I thought we agreed on higher standards???
Just kicksin bro!
In reply to gvenkat
Not everyone, just the pelters like Burmah and Narine
so Bumrush can be certified with no video evidence but when one can see flexion in his pelting elbow from the slow mo in the video in the first post one still has to provide video.
there is flexion. the question is how much?
In reply to sudden
Doh worry did dem. Dey know he pelting.
In reply to Barry
Griffith was called for pelting by Cortez Jordan and Arthur Fagg
In reply to Real-cricket
Only 15 degrees people
In reply to NineMiles
Nah man. Dat is photoshopped
In reply to Real-cricket
this one too??
In reply to Real-cricket
Nevermind dis wan
In reply to NineMiles
Damn look at that hyper extension, that is a bamboo, trust me I am a fisherman
That is how bamboo bends when fish is ooonnn
In reply to NineMiles
In reply to NineMiles
That one is the googly
If Bumrah is fine then every bowler should exercise their freaking rights and start pelting. After all, Murali got away with the same freaking excuse.
In reply to Norm
You are bawling a lot..freaking out?
In reply to Khaga
Do you have anything sensible to contribute, or just the usual garbage?
In reply to Norm
Garbage into your Normal dump..
In reply to Khaga
I guess you cannot help showing us how much those beatings from WI still hurt - even after so many years!!!
I think I will go watch that video of India's disgraceful surrender to WI at Sabina Park in 1976! Check out how the WI cavemen ran those pussies off Sabina Park - without pelting them too!
In reply to Norm
You are such a one trick pony..let me see if your miserable cricket has anything else..
Beat Khaga up
In reply to NineMiles
That is not pelting lol Watch in full motion.
In reply to Barry
You go beat your meat..
In reply to Khaga
You could draw a line like that and say Ambrose pelts

In reply to jnaveen
99% of all bowlers pelted according the archaic MCC rule..
The question is asked in Quora

Why can't they talk about it here
And talking about bawling
Link Text
Yes Sir, self-hate is a sad thing
In reply to Barry
Except Sohaib does chuck. And he was called out. Bumrah doesn't. Look at the year the thread was started. 2016. Died within one year. Hope that thread clarifies your doubt. Pretty sure you saw him play international matches, IPL what not. Suddenly after one innings where he blew away the WI batting line up, everyone "has to" talk about his action lol.
In reply to jnaveen
Dread it. Run from it. Destiny arrives all the same. And now, it's here. Or should I say, I am.
In reply to jnaveen
You quick to point out who chucks eh! But your boy goes scotch free
do I have to make a next pelter of a 5fer thread?
