The Guyana Amazon Warriors have announced their retentions for the 2021 Hero Caribbean Premier League which gets underway in St Kitts & Nevis on 28 August.

The Amazon Warriors have retained 11 of the players who guided them to the semi-finals of the 2020 event. Nicholas Pooran made the only century of last year’s tournament and he will be back with the Warriors this year along with Shimron Hetmyer and Brandon King.

I was just about to post this.

It will be interesting to see what is the fate of Keemo Paul and Sherfane Rutherford. Not sure if Keemo is back playing cricket and whether Sherfane is back in good graces with management.

Who would have thunk that the "oil cyah spoil" posse would be weeping and wailing and gnashing their teeth.

I wonder if the GCB will file a formal complaint over no contract awarded to Kemo Paul and Veerasammy Permaul?

Green is not am impact players. He gets limited oppertunities in the big bash. Green rarely bowled 4 overs in big bash.

I am happy he was released.

I would have retain rutherford and release bramble and nedd.

I feel Motie is a better bowler, batsmen and fieldsman then nedd.

Amazon warriors needs to get raid of their current selector.

Permaul is a better bowler and batsmen then sinclair.

Warriors will not win with this jokey team.

While U may be right currently, Y not give St Clair the same opportunity as given to Permaul to C how he will develop?

sinclair tried and fail already.

His bowling figures in florida t20 was no good.

The few matches he played for windies was no good.

His batting so far is poor.

Permaul has been a proven good bowler in t20 and regional matches.

And permaul has done some good slugging down the batting order.
