they are 50yrs. late. Didn't create the environment for investment then. Thankfully for them

the transition from fossil fuel will take some time. Can they get 10-15 perhaps 20yrs of earnings even from a bad deal?

I hope some responsible men in Government would use some of the oil money to build up the sea defense and improve the infrastructure.
